Never watched Vampire Diaries. I was thinking about binge watching it during the pandemic, but after I heard the producers did not want Ms Graham to show her natural hair on the show I decided not to. Her natural hair is gorgeous. And Ms Graham is naturally beautiful with no make up. It seems like powers that be at Vampire Diaries show did not believe in representation when it came to black women. Ms Graham was a threat to the producers standards of beauty.

For all the people who don't understand the concept of Natural beauty. This is a concept us women with Curly hair have about embracing our Natural curls despite the pressure to cut it short and straighten it. It is a fight against Discrimination. It affects us on all levels. Some of us are even unable to get a Job when we use our natural. Hair. Then if we dare wearing our natural hair once we are fired for "lack of Hygiene ". The Natural movement is an attempt at getting back our lives and freedom to express ourselves and fight back misconceptions about curly hair. The more girls embrace their natural hair, the less we will be subject to the straight normative stigma against anyone that isn't blonde with a straight hair. To this day I have people telling me to cut or straighten my hair. I am 34 not 5. EVEN family on my father's side discriminates me for my hair texture

Hair textures can change with conditioning. The longer my hair got the loser my curls with conditioning. It should also be noted that some parts of your hair may differ from others my roots are 4c but the ends of my hair are not.
