I've had DSPS most of my life. (Used to have to get up for school at 5 am, and on the weekends I'd fall asleep at 5 am, so I know it's something neurological--it's lasted through many life stages.) I retire to bed at around 8 am these days and awaken around 3 pm. So indeed I support 24/7 *anything*. It's frustrating when everything is closed in the middle of your day. Nowadays with the pandemic even Walmart closes at 7:30, which often leaves me scrambling. It'd be fantastic to be able to get my nails done at 3 am.

Usually if it’s a reputable establishment they follow all of the regulations but its gross and sad that a lot of those little hole in the wall places care more about money than rules and/or are just lazy and pig out. The good places will have the right equipment for sanitization, after I got my nail tech license back in the day (so I apologize if my directions aren’t exact) I became super self aware on how to tell if a place is clean and sanitized or if they are just faking it- because it can actually be pretty difficult especially if they’re faking it and pretend to care unlike the other side of the fence where they just don’t give a crap and let you see its dirty. When they fake it they usually will have those “UV sanitization lights” that look like a mini toaster oven but with blue lighting (UV lights) placed around the salon within the clients bird eye view, and they’ll strategically place implements and towels in it that will never get used because they are so old and grody and have been sitting in the container for years. If they do not soak their implements for a while in barbicide or any other type of chemical disinfectant after each use then you better tie your 👟 and start running towards the door 😂
