@@nathalierich9519 An intelligent parent will decide to let their children explore things and only act as their guide, teaching them what is right or wrong. A kind parent will decide when to give their children what they want so they won't be spoiled too much. A sensitive parent will decide how to take their children's concerns or problems and tackle them appropriately. This person wasn't any of those, they pretty much dictated the child's life, and how is that an intelligent, kind, and sensitive parent? Please, let children be children. Just because you're the parent, that doesn't mean you get to dictate their life. The child doesn't even know if they want it or not, since the child doesn't have the capacity for that kind of decision. There's a reason why most LGBT members before are adults or young adults.

@@nathalierich9519 Luckily, I have normal parents that understand that they should just be supporting me and my siblings and teach us things that can help us in the future. Even if they were part of the LGBT community, it doesn't matter. They would still be the greatest parents we could've asked for. Now that I'm entering my first year of college, I realize that there are people like you who would want to ruin a child's future just because of your personal interests, and it's sickening.

As a little girl, at about 5 years old I was telling my parents that I don't want to be Anna but 'Victor'. I am so thankful my parents just laughed about it and did not take it seriously. Hi, I appreciate people sharing their views and I too am not in favour of "pronouns" for kids. However, I think we should still be respectful of others choice of way to live. I don't really see this as abuse per se, but I would be interested to see how these kids develop over time. I think it's sort of worse when the education systems are FORCING parents to accept the pronouns thing when they personally don't agree with that for their own children. I hope that makes sense? That's just how I see the situation personally! When I was pregnant, I found myself called them "her" before I knew their natural sex as it was too early to tell! I had a miscarriage so I never got to find out, but to this very day I think of her as a she. If it was a boy, I obviously would have changed that according to what he or she was!

I was sensitive, too, and I remember my mom asking me on several occasions if I was gay whenever she'd yell at me and eventually I might cry sometimes. I was a tomboy, i grew up saying i wanted to be a boy, and I'd get upset if you called me a little girl, i wanted to be seen as a strong boy. I rejected everything deemed feminine, cut off my hair, wore boys clothes and my friends were mainly boys. However, my family did still remind me i was a girl and thats all good. I'm so glad my family didn't do this with me. Today, i absolutely love everything feminine, pink cutesy and i am addicted to makeup, its like im making up for my lack of interest in feminine things when i was younger. You don't need to do what this individual is doing 🙄

@i.venture I started trying to be feminine at 15, I'd say. I honestly don't know what spurred me on 😕. People were mostly kind, but there were a few guys who made it their mission to give me abuse, getting called a shemale and a freak from them wasn't fun. I think I also just tried looking pretty, girly, and I decided it looked better

Child abuse is starving kids because parents want them to be 'skinny' and 'pretty'. Child abuse is using incorrect pronouns when the child has clearly told you what they prefer. Child abuse oppresses kids and stops them reaching their full potentials. This isn't child abuse. This is raising kids in a family that clearly loves them very much, this is broadening kids horizons so they can explore themselves without fear of abuse and not being taken seriously. She's not insane but she's certainly unconventional. She's clearly highly intelligent - in fact she completely outflanked Piers, which was refreshing to see. All she's saying is she's not going to inflict a gender onto her kids based on their biological assigned sex. She wants her kids to 'evolve' in terms of gender indentification. I don't agree with that approach but I respect that she has a right to raise her children any way she sees fit. One could argue that her strategy is a form of child abuse but I don't think it is since all she's doing is 'not inflicting a gender on her kids'. The strong likelihood is that her kids willl evolve as nature intended. Nature occasionally screws up though so maybe they'll not.

I was born as a women and I've always been like a tomboy my entire life. I've always played with guys and love doing everything a guy does. Not at all interested in makeup or any girlish things. It did make me question why I am the way I am. Well, I am fortunate to have great parents who made me understand that not everyone is the same and each person is unique. I am now 23 and it wierds me out that people can't accept themselves for who they are and satisfy themselves with ridiculous pronouns. We have women bikers. Just because they are interested in something that a male is usually interested to, does it mean they are too? Absolutely not. Each person is unique and these gender identity concept is just shit. Just accept yourself as a unique individual and move on. There's literally so many other important things in life than this.

When I was four I was starting to understand gender and gender stereotypes, I'd started to actually understand when people used she/her pronouns for me, and I knew it felt wrong. Being able to tell people that i'm non binary helps me make people understand how I feel and how I perceive myself. It helps me feel more like me. And it does hurt every time someone calls me a girl. I'm not, I never was one and i never will be one. These kids are lucky their parents are so inclusive.

I can totally respect an adult who wants a gender reaasigment. I dont claim to understand it but i respect it. But when u say 2 year olds are having gender issues youre just projecting your own issues on them. Let them grow up with the gender they were born with and support them if they dont like it later. But atleast give them a chance for a normal life

I can’t respect people that do gender reassignment. I think it’s disrespectful to people that really are that gender. It’s like a white person saying I identify as a black person and putting on black face and going to hang out with the bros in the ghetto in America and acting like they’re one of them. No one would put up with that and the black community would be furious. I don’t understand why more women aren’t standing up and speaking out about these men dressing up like women and living a lie. Actual women and feminists have been fighting for equal rights for so long but then support a man dressed and doctored up like a woman being allowed to play woman’s sports and dominating over them. Then being hailed as courageous heroes in the media. These men can never have a baby inside of them or ever have a menstrual cycle or have motherly instincts. They will never know what it’s like to be a woman because they will never be one no matter how they dress or what body parts they have turned inside out or added to their chest. And vice versa with women pretending to be men. They will only ever know what it’s like to pretend to be a woman or a man. As a straight man I personally find I disgusting when you go out in public and see some freak of a guy dressed up in skimpy ladies clothes pretending to be a lady. It’s not as bad seeing a woman dressed like a man but that’s because their skin is covered and I don’t have to see their butt hanging out of a miniskirt.

My daughter wanted to be a boy when she was 4 since she had 3 older brothers. I just reaffirmed that she is a girl but let her dress as a boy, but her hair stayed long. She also wanted to be a tiger. Kids can't be left to raise themselves. She was a tomboy until about age 11.

My cousin who claimed she is a boy at age 6 grew out of it in less than a year. These parents don’t even give them a second to grow out of it, rather they force the idea that they are in fact the opposite gender of what they were assigned to at birth.

At 4 years old I made the conscious decision to stick my finger up nose for an unspecified reason or amount of time. I felt that’s where it belonged and it’s been my comfort place for years. I’m glad no one corrected this behavior. It’s done wonders for me as an adult.
