I have often referred to Lloyd's jokingly as "the Hogwarts of insurance," but the reality is that this marketplace has played a vital role in helping the world to finance its risk and cover its losses. It is an incredibly impressive place, and any serious insurance professional should make the trip there at least once in their career. It is a special place, filled with special people, playing a special role in a special industry.
