Inside Look at Paper Trading and Portfolio Tracking Simulation Tool for Pairs Traders

If you are a Pairs Trader looking to track a Wishlist or perhaps paper trade as a beginner in a way that saves time and allows for spreadsheet access, then this might be useful for you. Given the 73% request rate on the channel, this just had to be integrated. Not sure if it will land well, or if traders will really not like it, but nothing ventured, nothing gained.
In this video, you will be walked through placing some pretend trades right from the Statistical Arbitrage tool itself, being able to change details, close positions and export to Excel...or even use for Machine Learning.
One unique aspect is that trades are placed together, in one go, which is totally unique for Pairs Traders. What's cool is that you can also omit one side of the trade and just have a single position.

Amazing as always! That's too much to ask so I'm just wondering whether there are any plans on automating paper trading(smth like your backtest tool)? Manually gathering enough trades to judge a strategy seems hard

Mark! Always great to see your comments. For sure. The problem at the moment is rate limits for a mass amount of bots - but think I may have found a solution. Equally, hoping to set up a decentralised pairs trading exchange in the future if I can ever figure it out.

Vlad, I found your comment highly motivating, thank you - and welcome! If you know a little Python, I would suggest the DYDX course. Otherwise, the statistical arbitrage course. Just note that the Stat arb one is a bit older and thus some patches to outdated API code are being made.
