The #1 LEADING Indicator in Crypto for Short Term Traders

This indicator can signal when an event is about to happen on a cryptocurrency with relatively low liquidity. The indicator used here is EXCHANGE FLOW or Exchange Flow Balance. Rather than just looking at this for typical cryptocurrencies, this tool looks at Exchange Flow (one of the most useful on-chain metrics) for lots of small low-liquidity coins across the largest exchanges in cryptocurrency. Exchange Flow Balance is really about analysing each transaction on the blockchain to known addresses of an Exchange and determining the amount of tokens net, that have either been moved onto the exchange or taken off of the exchange. Once all data is gathered, we can then run statistical methods to detect large movements and provide information to traders to capitalise on it. This is a highly overlooked indicator and is extremely useful.

Hi Wasim! Indeed. However, that is not to say spot won’t work. For me personally, am interested in shorts as makes more sense to me. But different traders I suppose have differing experience and ideas.

Can you clarify why an influx (or outflux) of a particular coin (say FOOCOIN) from a particular CEX could be an indicator for the price of FOOCOIN on that CEX (relative to USDC, say) to jump? Given that it's about liquidity, I would think influxes of the common pairs (e.g. USDC, ETH, etc.) could be an indicator that a big purchase of a different coin that's paired with may be about to happen (but who knows which?). Or perhaps an inflow of a large amount of a low-cap altcoin to a CEX could be an indicator that's someone's about to sell it (a short opportunity?), but you mention you don't care which way the flow goes. Surely this matters? I guess I'm not understanding.

Your understanding is sound, David. I have seen it go both ways. For example, an influx whilst nothing is happening could be a pump and dump about to happen. Or…an influx could be the start of something to happen weeks down the line. Sometimes when looking at this, I can’t even figure out the story. All I can see is that antics are at play.
