Inside Look at Public Works at NAVFAC Southwest

Join NAVFAC Southwest Public Works as it presents the 2014 National Public Works Week (NPWW) theme of "Building for Today, Planning for Tomorrow" to members of NAVFAC Southwest May 21 at Navy Region Broadway Complex in San Diego.
NAVFAC Southwest is sponsoring its own NPWW event which will include Public Works focused presentations, demonstrations, guest speakers, interactive displays, and will be catered by local
mobile gourmet food eateries. Select electric vehicles, solar generators, and hybrid bucket trucks will be on display during the scheduled event. A video created in honor of NPWW is available
on the NAVFAC Southwest private portal under NPWW 2014. This year's theme "Building for Today, Planning for Tomorrow" represents the classic idea of stewardship embodied by the
profession of public works and the professionals that practice it.
