we already have one cajon of THIS company in our church...I took off the tapa and saw, how the string is attached (we have one string stretched in the form of the letter “V”, I am sure that with two strings the mechanism is the same...the only thing that caught my eye is that the free space of the adjusting bolt is very much smeared with thick grease, as if for bearings...pale yellow color )). also, some cajones have three bells hanging inside, I never realized HOW they are supposed to work there....

Bongos congas & antique cash register collecting I started making my own cajon drums around a year ago. I learned all about woodworking from KZbin. Seriously, I did. I found that it’s fun to make a cajon and then play and hear what you actually made with your own hands and I highly recommend everyone to try making one yourself.
