I never wanted to like Rachel. The first time I saw her she just oozed arrogance and entitlement. Then I saw her dance. She didn't have the aura of Eddie the Eagle or Eric the Eel. They were both humble, actually did what was required and were the only one from their country to have a go. Rachel has no humility, made her own interpretation of what breaking is and took the place of others who would have gone. I do love her redemption arc though. She's gone from laughing stock to unlikable to Completely Unhinged Narcissistic Toerag to... Oh, wait, she's made it worse. There is no arc. I do agree with her that there is misinformation out there but if you take account for all of it she still comes off the same because of her lies.
