Let me start out by saying that we're thrilled you reached out to us - you have an amazing travel channel here! Being a history buff and castle enthusiast, I very much enjoyed watching this. Funny moment at the beginning: when you had just started talking about this castle, I was wondering where in France it was located. Next thing I know, I see a map - that worked out great, haha! I like that the owners decided to restore it to its former glory - this is how history is kept alive and preserved, hopefully for generations to come. The map animation takes some time to create, but I enjoy it and think they looks cool. 😀 You'll need to see the map at the beginning of my Above the Clouds Zugspitze video (latest one) - I was quite creative with that one and enjoyed watching it myself! 😀 Also glad you like history - that also takes time to produce the narration, but I find it makes a place come alive. Haswell Travelled When in France we did visit a lot ove historical place and I remember touching some walls and having some big feelings ! I am a very sensitive guy ! 😅 One ove the greatest château 🏰 we visited in France near Strasbourg was the " Haut-Koenigsbourg " it’s on top ove a 3000 foot mountain and is just gorgeous ! Hello there! Unfortunately we didn't have time to explore the village much other than walk through it. But we were in a couple beautiful villages nearby which I have videos of, and I would say the stone buildings have been maintained and renovated as needed to keep them up. Hi there! Good question - I normally show all the rooms. I went back to my original footage, and there are no bedrooms or dining rooms captured. I have to assume they didn't have those rooms furnished - but I normally will video an empty room in a place like this. I can't imagine missing them - maybe we did? Very strange.
