$100/mo. for a place to stay in Vietnam that would cost $100+/night after taxes as an Airbnb or motel room in the states. Nice tour of the area. Thanks!
@Damalatorian14 күн бұрын
Last time we went to Vietnam we went with a higher budget so we went for airbnb for about $30-40/night and those places would go way more than $100/night here. Their airbnb game is on a whole other level and got hotels commited for one part of the buildings for just airbnb and the rest for "hotel guests" ...the only thing you turn away from by not going there as a hotel guest is the breakfast and that you have to pay for the skybar.. (this were in Nha Trang) ..beside that you still got access to the gym, pool and everything else. That studio were only a little bit smaller than my first studio and I paid $400/month for that in a small town.

just lucked onto you and glad i did. that is a heck of a deal on the apartment for one. i am 77 and alone and that would be great. the bad part is i don't think i can ever make it back as i won't fly and too long of trip on a boat and then the money to get there. i say back as i was there in late 1969 to feb 1971. i know it has been 50 years but; i am continually amazed at how the country has grown and improved and would love to see it and maybe live there. heck--buy a medium microwave for the apartment and you might use it a lot. enjoyed the video as i do several other you tubers there. the best to you in the new year! i would like to try the broken rice and pork chop meai. ha--as far as looking at you oddly; they probably still do not have many black visitors or definitely not many living there. west virginia checking in here.

Nice apartment deal. I live in Saigon Royal, which is the building with the CITI gym and Starbucks, at the bottom, of the building. Totally agree with you. The CITI gym price is too much. My apartment included at one month membership to CITi gym, since renters are no longer allowed to use the condo’s gym and pool. Only registered owners of the apartments are now allowed to use them, which sucks. Vietnam is slowing banning AirBnB and short term rentals
