Respectfully, I hope that spirit can push you to declutter, clean and organize your space. You're living in chaos, there's no way you can function. You got all that space and don't know how to utilize it. This is what I mean when I say some low income ppl don't care or appreciate anything. Some live like the government owe them something. You need to get that cleaned up before they come inspect and take it away. There is not one room, closet or cabinet that's functional. I decluttered, cleaned and organized your apartment in my head. And yes I am that one to help clean a space like this. I know ppl that have lived like this and they were always overwhelmed in the mess they created. You need to start in your room and focus in there first. Stop holding out on laundry, especially if you have that connection in your home. We need a full cleaning declutter video no talking just clean. It will be so satisfying to watch. Clean your space like you appreciate that blessing. You will feel 100 time better and lighter when you get your space together.

You have a nice size apartment for NYC standards. I also live in NYC in a one bedroom apartment, which is a spacious apartment for NYC standards. Just take it one day at a time, cleaning it, don't overwhelm yourself. Each day, clean each room throughly. Have the kids participate in helping you. Show your appreciation to God for having a roof over your head by keeping it clean & tidy. You got this!🙏 ❤

This will be a long-ish comment. Quick tip. Think of cleaning as individual organizing projects. For example, for beauty products i bought a very inexpensive bookshelf and put my products in super cute bins on it. That can be your first project. For laundry for example today i will wash dry and put away dark only clothing one day and whites the next😊 For the work from home desk, , you can say today i will plan my desk makeover. Its fun to declutter and give desk areas a new look. Also doing things overnight when you wake up and cant sleep...great time to clean! I do a movie and laundry folding on a Saturday night Lol....You are too hard on yourself ❤.things get messy and cluttered sometimes ...ookaay.....just clean, keep, throw away and organize little by little and ask God for the strength to do it. And you can't be beating yourself up like this my dear

Yes, I just came across this video and the thumbnail got me. Normally I'll keep it moving. But I agree I know young moms who work, pt. School and have kids and house look better than this. In reality it's laziness. Some women were raised in households like this because there's no excuse. Period. Im retired I worked two jobs with my 2 daughters and then one got pregnant so that was more work. But still to this day my house is immaculate. They say I'm OCD😂 No excuse

If you need a bed in the living room there are other ways like a daybed that looks like a couch, so that your home looks like a home and your mind becomes at ease. God will do it! Don't try to tackle the entire space at once. It will overwhelm you and set you back! It's okay! Furthermore, it's not as bad as you are saying it is. We all become ashamed of ourselves at times. But I can tell your home is full of love, and the children are well taken care of! They have plenty of room to play, and you allow them to do art projects. My daughters both do not allow as much of that as they can, because it is “messy.” Just take one SMALL pile, or one SMALL project at a time! Before you know it, you will see progress and get your home to more of what you would like. Stop beating yourself up! Just making this video was a huge step. Again, you do not have a dirty home. It's just more possessions than you probably need. But don't throw out things just to save space. Use it up! You don't want to have to repurchase things. I think what you need to do more than anything (and I DO TOO!!!) is to find ways to organize. And lastly, don't feel bad about going to a family function because you've not cleaned your house! What is more important? Maybe keep a pile of things you no longer want or need, and take to each family function, or whenever you attend church. Things will slowly dissipate. Congratulate yourself, when you get rid of something (even the trash) because you will no longer have to deal with that item. Whether it be moving it, cleaning it, or whatever. I wish I would follow my own advice. I am “flawed” too. Not really, but I feel I am -- as many women do. I ran across your video randomly, because I like watching apartment tours of NYC.
