The only 2 with the same bags that was given to us as a gift for Christmas, the only two always taking away snacks to have tea 🍵 at night plus bringing teas for the night . We did everything alike and we look nothing alike what where the odds that we were put together as roommates ♾️ ? That’s how you know the universe brought all of us together for a reason. So beautiful and the bees were a magical touch. Bee are a sacred symbol as their hexagonal structure of the bee hive & how they see has been linked to sacred geometry. They can bring messages from our ancestors or mama Gaia. A message of balance between doing too much and not doing enough. They also show us the importance of working together to reach our goals. Mama Gaia wants us to teach our children to respect the earth. Your generation is a blessing to the next generation... My grandbabies... I live 1 hour north of where you stayed & as I approach retirement, I feel like I'm birthing a new me and shedding off the structured layers that our generation grew up in. I can just feel you are doing big things here. First of all...beginning of the video I smile here alone like crazy because that whole experience and everything in it feels so good and I wish I could be there one day. It's unexplainable, I feel like 100% happines and excitement with gratitude and pure being, and I havent even seen much yet. And then I started crying, not because of sadness, but I think maybe that this is just so amazing, everything. Don't get me wrong, I love that we get to see what's happening here, bc it can be felt how awesome this is. It's cool to witness it ! Me personally tho, I would only attend one of these retreats if there were no cameras, no phones allowed out. I have the boundary that I don't want to be filmed without my conscious permission. (Also, can we really be fully present with the moment while also focusing on filming ? Of course not) The way the world is documenting everything in this day and age and there being no awareness or sensitivity for consent for filming others deeply sucks in my opinion. (Part of my agoraphobia) I have adhd. I mask and perform a lot bc naturally, I am weird (aka on the path of my destiny, shoutout to Mia Magiks explaying of the etymology of the word 'weird'). I want to (potentially) get to be vulnerable and show my true self in this intimate group selected by Sky's vibe. But if it gets broadcasted like that, any chance of me feeling safe to be myself is killed. The world at large is not ready for ppl like me (yet) and I am not ready for that intense kind of rejection all over again (yet). So the fact that these are always filmed is a big red flag to me when it comes to the topic of emotional safety. It feels to me that it is not considered. Not everybody is like Sky and ready to show it all (even Sky isn't, clearly bc she still constantly is overcoming her hold backs - rapping being a recent example.) Ppl like me are all or nothing. Either I feel safe to unmask or I don't. And going to a retreat to awaken my dream and still having to fully mask bc I dont trust the world to not judge me and deeply hurt me aka. deeply hurtful comments etc. Is a contradiction. I hope my feedback/criticism came off as intended: constructive. Love

I totally hear you! First of all, we don't film the whole time and there are certain parts that are camera free. But also, many people who attend want to express themselves on camera and use it as a way to process their experience. From my experience, I am actually able to drop into sometimes a deeper level of presence having cameras there as they provide a unique kind of witness that allows me to process what I'm experiencing in a new way. I participate in camera/phone-free retreats too, but this is one that's meant to be shared and expressing ourselves on camera is part of that! Everyone comes into the experience knowing it's going to be filmed and consenting to it. Many of them are also creators who are making their own videos too. We have a conversation at the beginning around filming and make sure everyone feels safe, and all of our participants say they feel extremely safe in this container to express themselves fully and release. The video team also does a really good job of being super low key you kind of forget they're there!

REGARDING COMMENTS ON LETTER IN BEGINNING... Don't come for Sky when you don't have a clue what really happened. I was there and got a letter. It was much longer. She gave one to each participant. Hand wrote it and decorated it herself, BOTH YEARS. Each was personal to the person, I still have mine. Don't be so quick to judge and assume. Apply and go see for yourself what Awaken the Dream is about so you can speak from experience. Let's learn to view with an open mind. If something doesn't resonate with you, go elsewhere. I pray all humans Spiritual, Christian, Atheist, Homosexual, Heterosexual, or whatever can quit judging how the next person navigates their life path. Focus on your own and you will be less worried about others. Attend the retreat and I'm sure you'll see things from a more loving mindset. Be blessed 😘

Sky, I've been watching for years. It would be a lie if I said you didn't have anything to do with inspiring me to host my own event. Mine will be called River & Soul, a men's healing retreat. Men's retreats are less popular, and, some say, it's the men in this world that need healing most, I know we all do, but, the men who are taught to stuff sadness are less likely to seek help when they need it. So I want to provide a healing space for them as a starting point, and see where it goes.
