The airport should employ people to clean and maintain the airport daily,morning,afternoon and evening. That is how to keep it looking new.Have a facility management team with a manager like it's done in every airport abroad.They need to demolish the old airport and and expand the new one to where the old one is.Nice one,thank you.

I left through Lagos on Qatar in January. I checked in through the new terminal, which was certainly as nice you saw. But, the experience thereafter was an *absolute* disgrace, especially after going through the new terminal’s security. Instead of leaving through the new terminal, I was directed to the old terminal via a big hall, at which point, I entered a no-AC, dirty, and derelict environment. Very long story short, between the terminals, I was checked by security and immigration personnel 8 times (oftentimes within feet of each other), encountered rude staff [whom I let have it from me a few times], little organization, and more. I was drenched when I got on the plane. The one and only upside was that not one staff member asked me for money.

Sassy Funke, you wondered why bigger jets are not using the new terminal. The story is that after the construction of the airport was completed it was found that the jetway (the enclosed walkway to the plane) was not made for the larger planes that ply transcontinental routes. When I flew the same route a year ago, it was only Air Peace that was using the new terminal.

Terminal looks great one question was it air-conditioned? I left Legos on Wednesday from the old terminal and ice sweat like crazy at immigration and getting my boarding pass. Nothing like sweating and knowing you have a 12 hour flight ahead of you.
