But let me tell you, there as HUMBLE now as they were then💯💯 Great People 💯

My perspective: I look forward to your videos everyday. I am personally a 4 spd or 5 spd guy. I like having a 3rd pedal. However....I watched this whole video and learned something about automatics. I really didn’t know what the dump valve was or how it was used until now. In fact, it makes me even more interested in using an automatic for my next build. The way you make these videos, you make me feel like I am part of your family. Thank you for that! Your willingness to help people is outstanding and I value that. Keep on wrenching my friend!

I don't know you personally but know you from watching the videos and I can tell that you love your Boy's very much.. me and my oldest son was going to do a father and son project we was going to build a car once I got back to work because I got hurt and had to have 7 surgeries on my knee with one of them was a knee replacement..sad to say me and my boy never got to do it because I lost him June 25th 2020 I was a truck driver delivered food to wendy's and other restaurants and got hurt from a faulty ramp coming out of trailer so I didn't get to spend much time with him and I have his 2 younger brothers my 17 year old is starting to get into it I love it and hopefully one day have a car built in remembrance of my oldest son.. maybe one day I can come out and see your Boy's race live instead of on video.. just wanted to say is keep loving them boys like you do and cherish all the times you spend together because you never know when the good Lord is going to call for them.. thanks if you took time to read and God bless.

Dielectric grease works awesome for o rings. Put an rtv tube tip on it so you can squeeze out the perfect size bead and it takes 5 seconds. It’s silicone based grease also, which is what 90% of o rings call for. Works great for preserving rubber parts too.

Excellent insight into the technology (and reasoning) behind dump valves. I've been a bracket racer for decades and appreciate a quality converter and transmission package, but I had no clue what the plumbing was externally on these (turbo) transmissions. Thanks so much!

Thanks for the info! I might put a converter in the truck. It definitely needs one. Got a built rear with good traction bars and built trans and 4.10 gears, but using a stock converter with the fins bent to allow a little more rpm down low. I bet a converter would liven it up!

Well it doesn’t look like Vicky blacked your eye anymore lmao “joke” Bill there’s a lot of us that watch everything you put out to the end but I swear to goodness, just this evening I was sitting in my garage talking to a friend of mine asking how the dump valve system works. I was gonna get on line and do some research and I be damned if you didn’t put out a video. But I agree, we may not do things by the book or how other people do them, but we do the things we do the best we know how and either way we’re doing it we got the same goal, get it together and make sure it’s safe and working properly. My grandpa & my dad drilled into my head all my life, if your going to work on something or someone’s stuff do it right because if it’s worth your time doing it then do it right, take pride it what you do. But thanks you kinda gave me a crash course or what I was wondering about on the dump setup. Stay safe, stay Rona free and pray to got Trump gets elected because if not all the things we enjoy may come to an end. Thanks Old Man😝💯👍💯😝
