Inside Our Modern Traditional Colonial House Tour 2023

Take a video tour inside our colonial house built in 1960 filled with thrifted furniture, DIY projects, and modern traditional room makeovers. We purchased this house nearly 6 years ago and have been tackling DIY projects room by room ever since. It’s quite a maze in here and far from anything open concept. We still have so many big projects we’re dreaming up for the future, but this house has come such a long way.

Stunningly easy and elegant. Simple solutions and everything has it's place. It's a livable and well organized home with a consistent color palate. Love it with one exception. There are too many flooring changes. Pick one for the main flooring and one for bathrooms. Try to make the transitions as seamless as possible to negate a tripping hazard.

This was in my suggestions on KZbin. Though it’s not my taste it was overall well put together & the chinoiserie mural in the bedroom was lovely. However, it may end up looking quite dated very quickly. Perhaps adding some collected pieces or vignettes would help break up the repetition?
