Here's the plot(SPOILERS): Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust have been running a successful operation by all accounts. However, when Anxiety shows up, they aren't sure how to feel.

I also found an Easter Egg that Turning Red, and Inside Out 2 are connected: In Riley's room, I noticed at the background, there was a 4*TOWN poster.

i think i might know the plot this is just an educated guess: beginning: its the day riley turns 13. her parents interrupt her night with“wanna go ahead and eat cake?” riley then says “sure” then the candles are lit, her parents sing the birthday song. riley blows out the candle after making her wish, riley then gets tired and wants to sleep, then the joy gladly states “what a fantastic day guys, now lets start the nightly routine.” then after the routine the emotions also sleep. but in the middle of the night, the emotions are woken up with beeping sounds coming from the puberty alarm. they all walk to the alarm surrounding it with their tired, confused faces. then, the alarm sounds. the emotions go into panic, joy tries stopping the alarm but seems to struggle for a bit, then she finally stops it. the emotions start asking joy what the alarm means, then joy tries to make a sentence about solving the mystery, but in the middle of the sentence, the demolition crew breaks in and destroys things to make room for the new emotions. one worker is seen fixing up the console. after that, the demolition crew leaves. the emotions then go back to sleep worried about what happened. middle: the emotions then wake up to start the day controlling riley. they are still curious about the demolition last night. fear tries to calm the others down, but gets interrupted with the console suddenly turning orange. joy asks who made the console turn orange, but then after the others say they didnt do it, anxiety is seen and greets the emotions with her name and asks where she can put the stuff she packed. then envy also greets the emotions and gets interested in disgusts hair. then anxiety points at ennui and ennui says “its what you would call the boredom” giving a statement about what her name means. and yeah yeah you get the rest because of the second trailer, but moving on. after a couple of hours with the new emotions in headquarters, anxiety thinks that riley needs more sophisticated emotions than joy sadness anger fear and disgust. then, embarrassment bottles the emotions up into a jar in the middle of nowhere. the emotions try to find a way out of the jar but then give up after a while. then the next day, anxiety starts taking control over riley and makes everything a lot worse. she makes riley experience new things, after stating “out with the old, in with the new!”. she then makes riley hang out with other people than her friends she has made in her new school. more plot soon

I think the new emotions are meant to prevent problems and plan the future. Anxiety is likely always trying to think ahead, trying to find any little problem that can become worse. Embarrassment represses any undesirable behavior. Envy probably gives Riley the aspiration to be or have something. And Ennui helps her through the more boring situation. The problem is that they are unable to help Riley to react to problems and situations in the right away, because that's what Joy and the others are meant for. Without the basic emotions, Riley most likely will enter into a spiral of stress that will cause great damages both to her self-esteem and social life.
