Disney and Pixar's #InsideOut2 is coming to theaters June 2024 with brand new emotions!
The little voices inside Riley’s head know her inside and out-but next summer, everything changes when Disney and Pixar’s “Inside Out 2” introduces a new Emotion: Anxiety. According to director Kelsey Mann, the new character promises to stir things up within headquarters. “Anxiety, voiced by Maya Hawke, might be new to the crew, but she’s not really the type to take a back seat,” said Mann. “That makes a lot of sense if you think about it in terms of what goes on inside all our minds.” A trailer, poster and film stills are now available for what promises to be the feel-good (or feel-everything) film of Summer 2024.
Disney and Pixar’s “Inside Out 2” returns to the mind of newly minted teenager Riley just as headquarters is undergoing a sudden demolition to make room for something entirely unexpected: new Emotions! Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust, who’ve long been running a successful operation by all accounts, aren’t sure how to feel when Anxiety shows up. And it looks like she’s not alone. Maya Hawke lends her voice to Anxiety, alongside Amy Poehler as Joy, Phyllis Smith as Sadness, Lewis Black as Anger, Tony Hale as Fear, and Liza Lapira as Disgust. Directed by Kelsey Mann and produced by Mark Nielsen, “Inside Out 2” releases only in theaters Summer 2024.

Yeah, I saw a glimpse of a scene where it was dark inside Headquarters and Anxiety looked worried, as if she had finally realized what she had done to Riley's mind. My prediction is that the new emotions will leave Headquarters to go and aid the others.

Same here. I get the feeling the movie it's gonna be a clash of the emotions, old vs new. But also curious that in some scenes Sadness isn't with Joy and the others. Something tells me this is gonna play a part of the movie. Like what if Sadness has another big part like she did in the first movie, what if she is the one to see that for Riley to be who she is that she needs all emotions have to work together like a team including the new ones, as they are all part of Riley. And maybe that new emotion that everyone's talking about Nostalgia might play a part as well, although maybe she won't appear until the end we'll not know until the movie comes... We will have to wait and see...

What Riley doesn’t remember, He remembers. Their are times when someone else comes along, and that is Remembrance, and Remembrance takes some of the forgotten thoughts/memories Forgetfulness stores, and brings them back into form, and then sends them back up to either Headquarters or Long Term Memory.

Funny thing: in my region, it came out on June 13! Here’s something that spoils the WHOLE MOVIE! Starts with.. whatever that was. Her personality (actions, feelings, etc) was that ball in the thumbnail of the video, bla bla bla… the Riley protection system thing… she became friends with two people by picking up coins, she got picked gor hockey camp because she was good, bla bla bla, and the emotions cannot sleep because of the Puberty alarm making weird beeps. It eventually goes off and Joy sends it down to the back of the mind. Then several idiots come in, destroy the place, make emotions feel more powerful to Riley when they touch the console, bla bla bla, the next day Anxiety, Envy, Embarrassment, and Enu… Enub… eh, good enough… come. Enubaudhabaidjsh uses an app to use the console. Riley then goes to camp, becomes part of the FireHawk squad (probably), and Anxiety throws away the empathy ball thing, and encases Joy, Anger, Fear, Disgust, Sadness… whatever… in a jar, and sends them to a shit place where they keep Riley’s darkest secrets. A kindergarten duo, some game character, and some sorta demon called the darkest fear. The demon frees them, a character from the preschool show gives them a dynamite, and they break out. The video game character then causes chaos to the cops, they send Sadness to headquarters by putting her into a recall tube, who spies on the emotions. Embarrassment notices Sadness, but gives her manual books to help hide her, Sadness steals Boredom… or whatever’s phone and makes the console sad. Anyways, Joy thinks they should ride consciousness shit river to the back of the mind to get their precious personality crystal. Riley experiences sarcasm and a huge casm…or however the hell you spell that… opens, they try talking to some guy on an escalator, but they sound sarcastic from the casm distance and one of the guys and Anger call eachother jerks. Early in the movie Joy gets angry which turns into sadness, then they use a weird sucker to push themselves off the ground and onto long term memory… or whatever. Later, JFA and D get stuck in a brainstorm, they hop on a giant idea and almost make it, but they fall and Fear uses his parachute. Annnd yea, they somehow get back up, bla bla bla, find their way to the back of the mind, get the thing, also something I missed: SADNESS GETS CAUGHT and put into a bucket during the brainstorm. Anyway, Embarrassment breaks Sadness out, and Sadness activates the back of the mind thing, but Anxiety destroys it. Oh and also, Anxiety is making a bad personality, bla bla bla… So, thats the end of the movie Nope! JFA and D go off and go down the casm from earlier, they then somehow get to the base of personality, and they come back to see Riley having an anxiety attack, so Joy stops her, while the new and old emotions destroy the bad personality, and one that has all emotions instead of just happiness grows, they like it, the movie ends.
