One night, whilst he was closing up the store, three teens armed with baseball bats and machetes went into his store, smashing up stuff and grabbing whatever bottles they could. My husband's dad then pulled out a revolver and shot one of those teens through the neck, causing the other two to just drop the stuff they were trying to steal and run away. A lot of the businesses in that street were robbed but for many years after that incident, his liquor store wasn't. It was firebombed in retaliation because the teen he shot was the younger brother of one of those other teens who were smashing up his store, but he wasn't robbed again since. NZ is very nice & we are very lucky, spoilt somewhat, no borders to other countries, no haters that want to bomb us, no world troubles in general except internally socially. Unfortunately as a young nation, we are starting to catch up to the real world with everything going on right now, doesn't help with the current govt but it's not 'all' their fault, this has been simmering for decades. I hope for the best for our babies as to what kind of NZ Aotearoa this will be by 2100, unfortunately the loving cuddles path might not be the answer in the long term, who knows, we don't really. The year 2050, or 2100 will tell us how we did. Cheers.

They need to Carrie a gun to protect Themselves I noticed on the news they say they’re as young as 10 year old that shouldn’t come into do the crime the should to the time By them putting Car s to smash into the shop they are ouch there was no one in there way they could really harm someone lock the up now before someone gets really Hurt
@brendonwilson38302 жыл бұрын
locking them up isn't going to do nothing 😂 yeah you'll be letting g time pass them but once they come out they would have met alot more other criminals inside influencing them more to do harsher crimes. what the police are doing now is good but they really need to be around the kids more and give them activities to do to keep their minds busy.

experiencing first hand that if you go to a country like the Philippines for example, if you were caught or seen doing this (citizen or foreigner), a bullet would likely come your way from security personnel, ain't no need to wait for police to intervene... these guys are visibly armed up with shotguns and automatic weapons and won't hesitate to put a bullet in a person if need be. Harsh justice over there. Maybe they should introduce that here, I can guarantee crime would drop dramatically, make it more dangerous and less appealing for people.

understand the kids most of them come from one parent familys , and have no father role , its easy to blame them but its getting the root of the problem , its shocking for bissness whats ,going on , but locking kids up will just make it worse comming from broken home my self , u relize ,what going on , kids at that age are told or theated to do it by older cowards , who wont do it them selfs , scam bags , at or 12 that,s just not normal . its about seeing the generation cruse if u like ,
