If anyone gets the chance, they should visit the Superman museum in Metropolis Illinois. It’s got biggest Superman statue in the WORLD as well as some of the only existing memorabilia from almost all of Superman’s onscreen appearances through the years. They also host an international Superman festival every summer! It’s a lot of fun!

Zack Snyder has set the bar very very high with his contribution to the DC legacy. I love Gunn's work, the Guardians trilogy and The Suicide Squad were great but I really don't want him to do to Superman and the DC universe what he did to Guardians and make it ALL comedy and a bare minimum of depth. The DC world should be taken more seriously than Marvel is (especially now). The majority of DC's audience are adults whereas Marvel (for the last 20 years at least) has been specifically aimed at much younger audiences. I just don't want to see the DC world become a kiddie cartoon is all. But I do trust James will do well, he killed it with The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker series. I won't pass my judgement until I see the final product, nor should anyone.

I am so excited for this universe to finally come alive and be connected. I'm only needing dcu at a 70% film/t.v etc... success rate! With the other 30% mainly breaking even at release, for me to say it's a success. But that's just my opinion everyone else can have there own. The only truly 100% superhero success in a franchise/universe of films and television is DC else-worlds. I wish I could say I was excited, but I'm skeptical at best. Gunn's films have been hit or miss for me, I liked his Shicide Squad movie, but I hated Guardians of the Galaxy. He is going to have to hit it out of the park with Superman: Legacy. If he doesn't, I have no hope in HIS universe.

To be honest , there are few things I want to be clear about Gunn and Safran’s overall plans for the new DCU :- 1-This time , No one should argue about Superman legacy , absolutely no one!!! 2-The entire cast from the suicide squad , peacemaker , blue beetle and even Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn will stay in the new DCU but Gunn and Safran are rebooting everything else 3-Variety confirmed 3 days ahead of release of Taylor swift : the eras tour that aquaman 2 the lost kingdom is finale remnant of Snyderverse aka the finale installment of DCEU franchise as whole and the entire cast from Batman vs Superman : Dawn of Justice and justice league or Zack Snyder’s justice league aren’t expected to rouse their roles in the new DCU meaning Ezra miller who played Barry Alan / The Flash in the DCEU and amber heard who played Mera in the DCEU were dropped by Warner brothers discovery and DC studios 4-David S Goyer was right about telling variety to point out where the DCEU went wrong 5-The DCEU franchise was ruined by the pervious DC leaderships and the former Warner brothers execs 6-the reception for the DCEU was generally mixed by the fans and the critics alike 7-Jason momoa confirmed that Aquman 2 the lost kingdom is finale DCEU movie meaning it’s the end of road for the Snyderverse , he’s done playing Aquaman in the DCEU and he wants to play lobo in the new DCU 8-Both Gunn and Safran left door open for cavil to play different DC character in the new DCU 9-The Snyderverse is not getting restored because it’s so atrocious , messy and ended with Aquaman 2 the lost kingdom after seeing how incoherent the DCEU franchise was these past ten years Side note : Gunn made it very clear that Superman legacy won’t be a comedy movie , he also made it very clear about where to use humor and where to avoid using humor in the DCU projects
