Just read this. I cant see how upping P14 to 20 amp can affect the SW900. It might stress the Battery and controller but The current does not flow through the SW900. The fault is def with the internals of the SW900.

Well, it went phutt as soon as I switched everything on after having selected as described. Can't think what else caused it.

@@philipvanbergen3924 do you think it could be some water in the lcd? or some overheated like black and red stick together. cause if we take a look in lcd those wires are connect to the controller and the motor red / black / yellow / blue and green. lucky you didnt burn the motor or the sensor inside.

Philip, how do I pop open the case? Do I attack the long edge or the short sides. My display didn't last very long at all. thank you very much
@philipvanbergen39242 жыл бұрын
The long edge has to be lifted slightly, but not too much, to get under the lip (more flexible due to the length) and then work around it slowly, several times.

Hey phillip, I just had a similar issue. Did ordering a new one fix this? the cord to my controller from the lcd monitor ripped during a crash today, but i didn't notice anything fried inside that lcd sw900 circuit board. Do you have a 48v 1500watt grey controller as well? I am at witts end, going to attempt opening that
@philipvanbergen39242 жыл бұрын
Christopher, it did cure the problem and it's working fine now. The controller was fried too, but neither the LCD nor the controller are expensive. £60 for both.

What you and I had is the SW900 A, mine too blew in the top left corner but nowhere near as bad as yours. The 'A' version seems to be the only one which allows amps greater than 20 ( up to 50 if I remember ). I ran my 1500W motor at 35A and experimented with higher. I don't think increasing the amps caused this, mine died a few days after a downpour. The display filled up with water but I could still ride home :)). Some people say using the light connector causes error 10 but I never had my 60v light kit when I had that display. I ended up with a bog standard sw900 and it won't allow more than 20A but I am using the lights connector so who knows what caused the damage, yeah, I know you were expecting this long reply to clear up the mystery but .. c'est la vie eh ? :))

amperajul este prea mare, trebuie setat sa duca doar 12 amp,

Same exact thing happened to me just now, 48v 20ah battery fried my lcd. Error 10z Searching for repair answers at the moment.
