I bought the Cyberbeast Foundation series and I absolutely love it, even more fun than I was expecting to drive. I put in stars in the ceiling, led lights under the seats, led lights underglow with a gloss black wrap. Not everyone who bought it regrets it, in my experience the overwhelming majority of people who bought it love it. The overwhelming majority of people who hate the Cybertruck, have never even driven one

I have a 2010 Rav 4 I drove for 15 years, and will continue to drive it until it completely breaks down, otherwise I’ll pass it to my kid. I may buy a G Wagon in the future but I don’t sell cars, I don’t view cars as investments. The Cybertruck is a fantastic car in my experience, most people who say they hate it talk about its looks or Elon Musk, they haven’t actually driven it. I don’t know anyone who has driven it who says they hate the driving experience

Yes the founders version is more expensive, duhh, and it was quite clear from Tesla that a cheaper version was on its way, but no, he couldn't wait for that. Before he received it Tesla also stated that due to unfinished development, cruise and autopilot and FSD would not be active....yet. Later an over the air update corrected that. And could you please read the manual? The passenger climate controls are active when someone sits in the seat and split controls are selected from the menu. I think the cost of supporting this model over the long term, combined with its lackluster sales, may lead to Tesla choosing to discontinue it. Once it's no longer in production, then it may *eventually* become a collectors' item. But, without support for software upgrades and replacement parts, I think it will then be about as usable as a 15 year old Apple MacBook - something to put on display but not to actually use.

Why is no one talking about how environmentally unfriendly these vehicles are? First, it takes HUGE amounts of energy to make it, and the materials are toxic waste products when the battery dies. Not to mention the tires, which wear out fast. No . . . Other cars have crash zones to take up energy in case of hitting something, to reduce the g-forces. The Cybertruck is of the "massive retaliation" philosophy, or "as long as nothing happens to me, I don't care about others". That was philosophy of the 1950s or so where the cars remained largely intact, just the passengers were dead due to the g-forces. On the other hand, you have this "bullet-proof" stainless steel body plates, that is adorned with flimsy plastic coverings. The frame (that is NOT stainless steel - so it will rust as on every car, and the fewest cars "die" of body rust, but from rust in the load-carrying parts) stands out front and back, just covered up by a plastic lid. So when you hit something with the frame, the load will go directly into the frame. As there is no protecting energy-consuming structures like crash-boxes behind a bumper, chances are that the frame will bend. Tesla workshops are obliged to NEVER repair a damaged part, but always replace with fresh parts. Because of that, I suppose a bent frame makes the whole car a write-off. Dismantling EVERYthing from the car and attaching it to the new frame must cost a fortune. A friend of mine had a Tesla sedan and someone ran into it. He could not see anything, but the dealer said parts are deformed. He had to rent a car for over a month, the repair cost over 20,000 dollar. He got is all from the insurance, but it shows how expensive it can get.

Good point about the water creeping back up onto the windshield. I suppose all the super cars with the single fixed wiper in the middle would have the same issue. At least in this case, a simple OTA update could perhaps give us the option to leave the wiper in the horizontal position. It would cut down on range a little, but that’s probably not a big deal most of the time.

It’s so funny how so many automotive reviewers erroneously think the Cybertruck is rugged and can do off-roading like old school SUVs and trucks. The Cybertruck is a CROSSOVER based on a car platform. Terrible approach angles, easily bottoms out. Not rugged and not an off-roader, just another mall crawler.

Ironically, i just watched the video where the host was auctioning his " truck ". He was saying how much he loved it, and how much he was gonna miss it, and yet was willing to take a 20,000 dollar hit to get rid of it after only six months. Mixed messages...... Also not mentioned in this list of ten things that he hates is that stupid key card. If that card slips from the very specific resting place, the vehicle locs itself up good and tight. What fun!!
