The Bell 429 GlobalRanger is my absolute favorite modern day heli! I currently have two 6 foot long RC scale models of them. I just recently finished building one and haven't test flown it yet, thanks to the ice cold weather.

At what power setting are you getting 32gals/hr fuel burn? Think that is way low.
