The extra shelf in the drawer ,is an extension to the work top area ,or it clips onto the fridge clips to create a shelf....that’s what the clips are for .....

Nice van, very expensive and not sold on the rear bed setup...looks like a bit of an after thought. Much prefer the lowering bed as per the Winnebago Revel. That said, the pop top beats the Revel so that would be a plus.

I far prefer this bed. The motorised bed on the Revel looks too much trouble, and when up you haven't got enough headroom to stand up in that area which you have when this bed is folded away.

That van is everything you said it is, and then some, which comes as no surprise, being the vehicle and the conversion both fine German producs. Also, you did a nice job of showing us the van and explaining everything about it. Now, if somehow you could just loose that super annoying background music, both at the intro and during the tour of the van, then this video would be perfect. Other than that, great review, mate. A beautiful looking camper exterior wise. No oven/grill for that price. I should imagine its possible to fit but for more money. I prefare the 570 4x4 crossover but its a motorhome not a camper. Great video and well presented 👍

Gas cooking is so yesterday and then the wasted space with the gas bottle storage. Then the batteries charged by two pathetic solar panels. Much better to have a separate alternator to charge as you drive. I like the fly screen on the sliding door

It has alternators, and Mercedes can spec upgraded alternators or even two alternators if you want. The solar panels are just to keep the batteries topped up.

A C1 license is required to drive this in the U.K. if you passed your test before 1997 this is automatically assigned but if you passed after that year you are required to take an additional test

You can easily get a tabletop induction hob that plugs in. When off in wild country and maybe miles from civilisation you don't want all your eggs in one basket. If everything is electric and your electrical system fails then you've got nothing. With this you'd still have your gas for cooking and, in an emergency in cold weather, heating as well.

Looks incredible. But that drop down sink is flimsy and not in keeping with a £125,000 vehicle. When they cram a toilet and shower unit into a van, there are always compromises.

It's a good compromise to fit all this in yet still be under six metres where you can park in any standard city parking space or in a McDonalds car park. One feature he didn't mention is the shower head is next to the window and you get a suction cup mount so you can have the show out the window on the side of the van. Very useful if you're really muddy and want to shower yourself off before getting into the van covered in mud.

I love it! Graphics look too much like a moto cross team truck for me but very striking none the less. Think interior should be none wood style to match the look. I'd certainly want onr for sure 🤙

Took their inspiration from American Camper Van Market! Very nice. 4x4 off-road and off grid vans are in demand here. Storyteller, Winnebago Revel, Jayco Terrain, Pleasureway Recon are the big names - then you have small outfits like Mountain Made Van's, Van Clan and others that do custom builds.

This van needs wider tyres for a 4 x 4, as they look at bit dinky from the front view. Also, the additional fold up tray at the end of the kitchen unit is a loss for this Van. The Hymer Free 600S is much better in design, is £40k cheaper and especially if that can be bought in 4 wheel drive, then it wins.

Not impressed with the lack of sitting space when the weather is rubbish, driver and passenger seat and that's it, no "lounge type seating at all. the rear compartment would be better set up like a caravan "lounge bedroom" all in all don't think it's worth the money.

The van is overpriced with basic design fittings. No washing machine, no microwave oven no air condition unit or hot air heating equipment. No indication of battery size, clear and grey water container sizes. Overall not impressed at all, it is grossly over-priced.
