It doesn’t say anything. I guarantee you if you were hauling angle iron or gold bars or cocaine you’d run out of weight before you run out of space. That’s why in the runs to the northern reserves we load it up to just under max gross with cans of pop and then bulk it out with potato chips.

Yes, it can. When I flew the 208A and B-models for FedEx in Southern California in the late '80s, we flew them VFR, IFR, day and night, and in known icing conditions, all single-pilot. P.s.: FedEx was the "launch customer" for the Caravan, which explains it's load carrying abilities and performance.👍
