Heck yes! I'm all for it. This would protect people & wildlife because marshlands are a natural barrier against hurricanes if built RIGHT & time is taken to make sure it is.

well considering the seafood industry alone in Louisiana produces over $2.4 billion every year, that alone is worth protecting. not to mention protecting the lives hundreds of thousands of people.

I think it’s a little more that. This project to meant to mimic how nature naturally created these marshes. Small scale projects have proved it will rebuild the marshes over time. It’s not a quick fix, nor is it cheap, but it will cost more in the long run if we do nothing.
