Just was in the LAX lounge. Great experience. Had access for 6 hours because I had connections from Thailand and I was headed to DCA. Got a complimentary massage and manicure + shower. Bartenders at both bars and delicious food! Well worth it.

Awesome Chris, definitely one of the best Centurion Lounges I've been to. The spa is included if you have the time, but you do have to reserve a time when you check in.

Definitely a great lounge but kind of in a weird hard to find location if you're coming in from a another terminal on a connecting flight. It was hard for me to find because I was changing planes and coming over from terminal 4. It is kind of disappointing that you can't see the runway or the ramp area especially if you're an aviation geek like me. But it is still a great lounge.

Thanks for confirming what I thought, LAX Amex lounge is definitely not worth it. Most lounges have a beautiful view of the outside but this is just odd with no natural lighting. Not to mention the long wait times... so sad considering how we waited so long for the LAX Amex lounge to be built. Oh well-- good bye Amex!

The Centurion/Black Card will never happen in my lifetime. I get invites for the Platinum card all the time, but I can't justify the $695 annual fee. Oh, well. I just eat KFC in the peasant dining area. :/

$695 is nothing. Wait till you see the singapore version, its annual fee is approximately SGD$1800

It’s really only worth it if you travel often. The free room upgrades and $200 anual hotel credit pays for itself after a few trips. The lounge is just a plus.
