Well there were 2.5 million encounters last year so divide that by 365 and that's 6,849 so it's a slight improvement. The main get is that asylum claims will be even harder to prove (there's a 93% reject rate now) and migrants won't be released into the interior and their cases will be heard in months, not years. I think I saw that if you walk past other countries to claim asylum in the US, it's an instant reject. If that's the case, we should only be getting Mexicans and they will have a hard time proving asylum.
