Allegedly responsible for the war crime of unlawful deportation of population (children) and that of unlawful transfer of population (children) from occupied areas of Ukraine to the Russian Federation (under articles 8(2)(a)(vii) and 8(2)(b)(viii) of the Rome Statute). The crimes were allegedly committed in Ukrainian occupied territory at least from 24 February 2022. There are reasonable grounds to believe that Mr Putin bears individual criminal responsibility for the aforementioned crimes, (i) for having committed the acts directly, jointly with others and/or through others (article 25(3)(a) of the Rome Statute), and (ii) for his failure to exercise control properly over civilian and military subordinates who committed the acts, or allowed for their commission, and who were under his effective authority and control, pursuant to superior responsibility (article 28(b) of the Rome Statute). see? the reason he's called war criminal is because he's evacuating children from battlefield...

Nekrasova Street in central St Petersburg - I also lived there & went to school. Putin's flat was in Baskov 'Pereulok' (small street nearby). He was born in 'Snegiryovka' maternity hospital in Mayakovskogo Street, same as my grandmother 20 years before Putin. It used to be a good middle class area in Imperial Russia before 1917 but then Communists annihilated all decent, wealthy and cultured people, confiscated their property and let the worst working class rifraff to live in these houses. Life in Soviet Union was very poor, wretched and miserable. Everyone was equally poor and scared. WW2 which killed 27 million Russians (and also Ukrainians and others as part of USSR) and horrid 30 years of Stalin turned Russians into zombies. Very greedy, violent, ruthless and cynical towards each other and naturally all others. Putin was so poor and humiliated that he dreamed of enormous wealth and power. But he was a little rat even as a boy. That's why he joined KGB and became a grass. KGB helped him to get a place in St Petersburg University to study law, otherwise he would've never been able to get such an education. He was never academically brilliant. KGB and Law gave Putin his cast iron heart and scheming calculating brain. He clearly was very passionate about Soviet Union (yes, not JUST Russia) but I think he also deeply HATED it. Then events in 1989 in East Germany deeply scared him and he became distrustful of democracy & human rights. Collapse of USSR in 1991 gave him an only chance to become RICH at last! He only ever wanted luxurious comfortable life. Same as his friends. Of course he was a gangster. But since old Yeltsin's regime was so weak, oligarchs decided to use Putin as their puppet president. Only he outsmarted them all and got rid of them all one by one. Very clever, talented and crafty man. He became the best Russian leader in its history, widely loved and admired. Yet he became a power junkie and now thinks that he is a Messiah sent by God to save Russia. He is Russian Adolf Hitler and the end of his regime will be terrifying and harmful for Russians.

BBC's total ignorance of reality. Putin's mother got a child and the man left. Mother started to live together with another man. Putin's first step-father didn't like child and was violent. Putin's mother gave child to her own mother to care about him. Grandmother gave child to a Leningrad family who adopted Putin. That step-father was again quite violent and beat child so often that neighbors intervened. At the same time child foster-parents were devoted Stalin admirers which Putin learned to share. In Putin's fake biography they were presented as his real parents. Putin's real mother was still living in Georgia some years ago. Putin was an abused child with strong inferior complex - that was one of reasons he so much wanted to join KGB - to get secret power over people. At first he worked in KGB 5-th division which was for created to fight against "inner enemy" - all kind of dissidents. So at first he was just some kind of snitch. In USSR in every university in every faculty were such "students" who were KGB informers, some of them officially worked in KGB, most were just sneaks. After of course he rose in his career but he never was a real spy, that is just fake legend.

What BBC is trying to say in this video is that little Vladimir despite harsh and poor living conditions in ruined post-war Russia, managed to succeed with everything he undertook- be it studies and academic achievements, sports or political career. BBC is leading its followers to an inevitable conclusion that Putin is a man of many talents, a brilliant strategist with excellent organizational skills and leadership.

I agree he runs the state like he plays hockey. Everything is staged so he wins.

@ You are so transparent in your envy. But don’t despair. We appreciate the American people’s choice🤡🤪. Never before was a leader of a country as entertaining as Joe Alzheimer 🤡🤪🤣. His going upp the stairs or forgetting where he is or shaking hands with imaginary people - obviously the most suitable person to run USA🤡🤪🤣🤣.
