I-35 has been a problem for a very long time now. Most people don’t know that some of the worst places to grow up is near a North/south, west/east intersection. the gang and drug life is hard to escape in those places. I knew people that broke into my parents car. Not once or twice, but at least half a dozen separate incidents. All because they didn’t like my step dad… I didn’t like him either, but they had guns. I would have been a fool to tell on them though. They where the ones who told me they did it!! Drive by’s, gang fights, getting jumped, I saw it all and I did my best to just keep my head down and stay away from as much as I could. I had one chance to escape it and I took it. I left friends, family, school, girls, even most of my belongings. I hated growing up in OKC. I do miss Crossroads mall… that place was huge and had some pretty cool stores.

@JK-zq9vw How and what was the one chance escape? How old were you? And where did you go when you escaped?! And did you ever go back to just visit with family at least and maybe friends? I just found your story fascinating!

@@hubes96 at 15 I was allowed to go spend the summer on my aunts farm. I loved it up there and they even wanted me to stay and go to school there(dairy farms and corns fields) but I didn’t know and neither did my mom(and step father) that my aunt truly felt bad for not just me but my father as well. She started tracking him down the best she could at the time. One night she called me down and handed me the phone. That 20 min. Call I learned I had 2 little sisters and that my dads family had tried getting a hold of my mom and I a couple years prior to that when he was life flighted after falling out 40ft. Out of a tree. They thought he was going to die and where trying to figure out a way for me to say goodbye. That night it hit me pretty hard. I know some kids never get to say goodbye or even meet there parents. I find that very unfortunate. It would normally really get to me every couple months. But this time it was different. My aunt called my mom the next day to let her know she reached out to my dad and let me talk to him. Within 24 hours my stepfather arrived to take me back…. I was going to go to school up there before that call. I was never told why my parents broke up. Just my mom would tell me to ask him some day and he would say that it would be best heard from her, he never talked bad about her. Even to this day he won’t even though she did so much to warrant a complaint. I was allowed to stay in contact with him but it was only on certain holidays. Every time I talked to him I also talked to 10 other family members. My grandpa would grab the phone as soon as he heard it was me and ask “when ya coming home”? It broke my heart. Until one day she said yes. I had just turned 17 and I was going to spend spring break up there. I think it helped that our living arrangement was rough. We had to move out of the house we where in and stay with family. Her and the stepdad had been going through some stuff for a couple of years and where divorced within a year after. She knew I wasn’t coming back, and at that age she wasn’t going to win me back in some sort of way. So I moved to a small area in the foothills of Appalachia. Talk about culture shock. It was one heck of a change. My high school credits got messed up and never got fixed, but at 18 all I wanted to do was find a job and start paying my own way. It did bite me a bit later in life but I still managed to succeed as best as I could. I did go back to visit but it was only to see family in a totally different area of the state. I do miss some friends and but I have problems remembering names. I think I have one friend on social media from before the age of 17 on social media. Never did the Prom or Homecoming thing but I had several girlfriends but nothing serious. I am still upset that my mom let not just one man but 2 men’s jealousy and her own anger at my dad ruin that time I’m not close with anyone except my wife and now my son. In fact while I text with my mom and dad and siblings actually talking is nonexistent. It’s coming up on almost 20 years since the last time I saw my mom or grandmother(her 90yr old mother). I’ve spoken with her about moving here when my grandmother passes but she said she wasn’t leaving her current state.. like I was planning on her having one of those tiny houses (just for when she wants to be by herself or hearing our pets) that she could stay in and have free roam of the actual house but she said no. I made sure she knew it wasn’t going to cost her or us anything but still no. My travel was restricted for a while by my job but after it was just to much and to much crap to deal with. We tried to make it to my grandmas 90th birthday but couldn’t swing the travel and lodging. I’ve offered to fly them out for a week, month or whatever but they refuse to get on a plane. I’ve tried to look for maybe a train or something but just haven’t found anything yet. My mom has never been more than an hour away from her mom for over a year. They sorta rely and depend on each other. It worries me though as my grandma isn’t getting any younger. I want them both to meet there grand/great grand son. He’s 2.5 and that’s why we’ve been offering the flights and places to stay. I’m probably not the best son, or person and I know people have worse issues they’ve felt with. I’ve dealt with some I just can’t put into words and some things that people should have been jailed for. I know the gang and drug problems a horrible in Mexico and that spills across the border. … id still love to visit a hobby store like that one in Crossroads mall, lol ! It was huge!!

Indeed. Many relentless offenders are not equipped to endure the suffering they inflict on their victims. Often, they are so desolate that their only source of power stems from engaging in such brutal actions, a pathway that often leads them into such a lifestyle. It is remarkable to observe their swift downfall once they are captured, and their brief reign of terror is abruptly ended. In the case of Bart, it was clear to him what kind of monster his boss Miguel was, having seen him torment his prisoners in the cruelest ways imaginable. Therefore, his decision to seek shelter was straightforward. One can't help but ponder how these criminals would react if their punishment in the afterlife was to endure the same, if not more, agony than their victims.

The main reason they use teens is because your brain as a teen literally doesn’t make much of the chemical compound for empathy compared to an adult that’s past the brain developing.

Bro that guy is just a naturally born psychopath.Unfortunately in this world of ours there are people who are just born evil or have that evil demonic gene in them n hence why they belong to the 3 dark triad personality traits n Psychopaths dominate that triad. Not every teenage kid ul give them a gun n easily accept an order to go assassinate someone in front of their own family n pregnant wife.It takes a an evil Psycho like this dude to do that withouthe showing any emotions or empathy whatsoever. He's even admitted in the on screen interview now speaking as an adult that he doesn't feel anything or remorse fr whatever he did.For him it was just a job n no remorse to show ft it.That's a classic Psychopath.

When asked “Any Remorse” he shook his head no” But could barley say the word no, he barley whispered. Do I think he does have remorse by how his answer came out?! No! BUT I think, his mind and psyche were taken from him when he shot and killed his first victim at 13. I think because he committed such a heinous crime before his moral compass was set. I believe he has the ability of discerning between right and wrong or the difference between no moral standard and moral standard. Why he answered the way he did. But chooses to say no. As a way of not letting himself think the other way. So he never has to feel bad for what he has done. He knows living that way would be much harder than being the way he is, having no morals…
