Rees is probably fine since if it’s known he’s not doing the play calling, his job should be safe if Stefanski gets the boot at the end of the season. Also people need to stop saying 2 time coach of the year; that award has the same value as a participation ribbon. It would hold more value if the team didn’t suck the next year 😒
@generalposter47925 сағат бұрын
Rees is simply KS's assistant. Be a helper to KS's offense. Not really a coordinator. KS is the coordinator. Any real coordinator would call plays and run the offense. But that's the way they want to go. They want to stick (ie.) go back to the KS offense

G Bush, you're right about the OC should be calling the plays. Stefanski's ego won't let him give the Offensive Coordinator more control. That's why the Browns offense fails to maintain a rhythm. Even when they had decent QB play with Baker Mayfield. Stefanski would consistently call plays that stopped the teams momentum, once they got in the Red Zone.

Hey, maybe starters will actually play in the preseason too! Seems to work for the Chiefs.

Leroy Hoard has said, Cleveland Browns football is running the ball. Kev is returning to that with the West Coast offense. Ken Dorsey was an architect of that 5 wide bull💩. 2025 will be much better because KS has control to do what he wants again! I guarantee we’ll be better.

In my opinion Reese is being hired as a glorified qb coach similar to how avp was in the beginning. It also leads me to think that they are sneakily interested in Milroe. Hopefully round 3 but possibly 2. Sign cousins and possibly fields as well to round out the room. This makes sense because milroe has all of the tools but needs a lot of work. Reese would have a head up in that regard because of the history with the qb. I don’t think he will sniff the field in year one unless the very worst happens. If the new oline coach can come close to what Callahan was and cousins bounced back close to what he was with Stefanski in the past, this team will surprise a lot and should make the playoffs. Hopefully milroe will be ready to play in year 2.

They bring in Reese and then hire him the following year. I believe the ownership has a lot to do with the bad decisions. And that Kevin stefansky always have a backup plan, remember he didn't want to fire Van pelt & i wouldn't be surprised if he'd never wanted to hire a Ken ...... If Browns see Milroe as their second best quarterback on their board, and Tennessee takes Ward one, the Browns pass on Shedour, they will potentially take Milroe at 2 which would be a reach, but if that’s their guy after the pro days and the combine, and the private workouts, well you are in the drivers seat to execute your plan. Either by trading down and picking up more picks and then taking your franchise quarterback. Sometimes you have to roll the dice.

Ummm Haslam wanted Watson badly! Then we find out Watson was damaged goods….its not Kev’s fault. Kev is a good play caller as we saw with Flacco and others. I have total confidence in Kevin. So really. Kevin is going to be the offensive coordinator again. And he will struggle in the games by not being a HC on Sundays. You make it to the playoffs he will definitely struggle coaching the game look at the houston playoff game. It's some of the same ooo same oooo. Tommy Reese is just another scape goat. He won't be calling the plays but get the blame in the end when the offense struggle. Kubiac would have been the best option. And runs the same offensive. His dad was a disciple of pop Shanahan offense. And besides . If Kubiac would come and calls plays and the offense looks good but we loose to many games because of bad game day coaching. KUBIAC JR would play himself into a HC job with the Browns and Kevin would be outtttttt 🤔
