Considering since Afcon 2021 the Blackstars had not played a single game this is quite a result. However the team really needs to improve. Playing for the Blackstars becomes an attractive proposition again. However the players that got Ghana to the World Cup should be considered first. Overall though African football seems to have regressed and certainly is not respected. Look at Aurier"s red card from two yellows in a friendly there seems to be an agenda to discredit African football. The only way to counter that is win big games on the world stage. It means anyone who puts on the jersey plays for it and the team. Ghana should target world cup semis (a big ask) and building a team that can win Afcon 2023
