I was honored to have been invited to the Marshal Testing Ground to test this transmission. I've never been impressed by an automated transmission....until I was able to stop on a 15% grade with a 145,000 lbs and effortlessly start backing up the same 15% grade!!! That was the part that impressed me the most. I would have difficulty doing that with my 18 spd manual. But, this system is so much more than just that. This is a truly amazing piece of engineering. The next Heavy we order WILL have this system.

if you want relaiblity the 18 manual is the way to go
