Ross is one of my favorite fighters to watch. He is a pro in every sense of the word. tough loss but great fight. I respect Thai fighters for their commitment to their national sport. People need to recognize all of these warriors and be more respectful to the traditions of Muay Thai. I hope this style of fighting grows in the US

thank you for uploading these videos i have been a fan of this sport for many years, these videos help convince ppl (including ma family n friends)that muay thai is a real sport ,that the fighters are athletes that have to train hard n be in da best shape to compete , n that muay thai is an art/way of life not a bloodsport.Please continue posting these videos

Fantastic video. Muay Thai would be so much more popular here in the U.S. if guys like Kevin, Romie, Joe and Ky could get more media attention. Each of them is very unique

@adrianc714 Redbull does sponsor Muay Thai, but they sponsor the event not the fighter. Many shows in Thailand have had redbull as a sponsor.

I didn't even realize we had this many world class fighters, I thought Cyrus Washington was about it......Kevin Ross is a BEAST, his hands are just scary. Anybody who can keep up with Seanchai is a bad mofo, even if Kingstar's older than dirt as fighters go. Awesome series.

Joe! U never watch MT in Thailand?! Redbull is the #1 sponsor in Thailand! Even before redbull came to us. U never seen red bull logo on a MT shorts
@Rundeish12 жыл бұрын
I have to disagree. I don't think he's trying to undersell MMA, I think he's trying to sell MT. I agree that MMA fighters are better overall fighters, but I still find the striking part of MMA and MT to be the really entertaining part. I've never been a huge fan of those 3 rounds of grappling/wrestling mathces, but again that's just my preferences.
@BoarsofWar12 жыл бұрын
I agree. Buakaw would be to good!

I get what you're saying, but wanted to balance out his statement. He's trying to undersell MMA in order to promote his sport of choice and I get that. Still, there's something tainted about watching boxing or kickboxing knowing that they couldn't survive in a fight against lower level MMA talent.

Dude, all the "cultural aspects of muay thai", are to develop the mind, which takes care of the body, to be able to do, what it should do, before moves that are kind of like, but still way away from..... what they should be like/anythingelse....!
@gaipazzo12 жыл бұрын
You definitely have. Check out where RedBull originated from and you'll know why.

Thais seek to make the best fight possible, not merely win the fight...!

where are these american guys training...all at the same gym...where is it?
@Rundeish12 жыл бұрын
I do not believe he's trying to say Muay Thai is better or anyting. His point is valid though if you wanna see world class(A LEVEL!!) Muay Thai striking; you go watch a Muay Thai fight! Even though the guys doing MMA is better overall fighters, you're not gonna see striking like you're in top level Muay Thai. So drop the "MMA is better"-thing, both a fucking great sports and I wish I'd started practicing any of them as a kid.
@bmx759612 жыл бұрын
He is just mad bc some American fighters give them a bad name. Their are so many fighters in USA, some are good, some aren't.
