Residents can help themselves keeping their community and environment clean and employing recycling similar to Japan. The flooding can be controlled by gutters that direct water back out to sea but they have to stop throwing trash onto the ground otherwise all that will choke the gutters and get washed out to see. I like the video, i have been to Okpoko, is in Ogbaru LGA very close to Onitsha, things are cheap there, hardly for someone to build a house there with a block because of the environment. When raining season comes the place looks worried. But people living there loves the place, most of the houses there were built with planks and plywood.
