Hi mak,the wood used for the floor and bar top is RED HEAT ( erythroxylon spp).from central America it's a hardwood bright red in colour when freshly cut but darkens to deep red over time... The house is so amazing and it's surrounding environment is so friendly.

Would love the design ! definitely would build one for me its an awesome country cottage . Curious about cost for building and who the design/developer is. Love the exposed beams and I am a hard wood floor person: Can have a Gazebo/Barbeque at the terrace; Patio Gas heater . Stunning view of Mt .Kenya and the Mau Mau caves great historical aspect. The bike rides are my thing ! this place I would never leave . Ducks; Geese ; Chicken self sustained organic food. Solar heating system is stellar. Just landscaping (grass/flowers) I would incorporate. The kitchen suits the design for the cabin! really well done. I would not have the refrigerator where its located . I would have the pantry and laundry area separate from each other. Would add a dab of paint color on the walls and add a piano :) That saxophone is great!. Wish they added barn doors (just my preference) in the restrooms/wash areas. Love the room willis! totally get it . Munene's room is great too! . that upstairs' room view ; ambience ; set up so serene and peaceful. the Master Bedroom gets the trophy . That bathroom is amazing. Lots of interior decor ideas to add on for in🤩🤩dividual taste. This house is for me . Out of all the houses you have showcased this one gets the trophy .

This is the best house you have shown thus far and it's not even close!!!! Been your fan and I am yet to see a well executed home... Some of those expensive home you showcase have so many things that are disfunctional. I am still at the living room area but so far, the best set-up and finishing so far. I'd add a nice rag downstairs and I'd definitely not use leather seats coz of the cold
