As a Sunni Muslim in America who is also from Milwaukee, I really appreciate you making this video. The muslim people featured did a great job of portraying the best parts of Islam. I think the differences between Suni and Shia are notable, but shouldn't be a means for division as the core beliefs are all there. 4:00 I love that you included this part as well as the explanation on why you said this was “a made up war.” It makes me happy to see that so many have woken up or are in the process of waking up to the fact that we’ve been lied to by the government en mass. For so long I was labeled as a crazy “conspiracy theorist” for simply asking questions & not buying into the propaganda. I was young and naive when 9/11 happened and sadly I bought into the government approved mainstream media narrative. It wasn’t until I got a bit older and wiser and decided to do my own research that realized everything we’ve been told to believe was untrue. Seeing so many questioning things gives me so much hope, however there’s still many who’re still living with their eyes closed but I hope this video will inspire them to think critically, ask questions & educate themselves! Great job per usual Tommy! ❤

I think we can all relate to this in one way or another, that feeling of not being in control, having people hate you without knowing you. I studied in America and I honestly never expirienced islamphobia or any of that shit and I think it has a lot to do with character, I probably ran into people who have biases against me but I can comfortably say that I was decent enough where they let go of these views atleast for the time I was around them. I do get death threats on instagram for having somewhat of a following and supporting Palestine. I've been called a terrorist in the past 2 weeks more than every other time in my life. I felt a little hurt when that cute little girl said she wants to become a housewife later on in life and other kids laughed at her. Ah, why? That's the most important role in human societies! Why would someone be laughed at for saying something like that? It's like if little boy said that he wants to grow up and marry and support his family and kids. Why would someone laugh at something so necessarily needed in our societies? These laughter and jokes would discourage that cute little girl in her early life and she may choose to follow a different path altogether, only to regret later on in older age.

Historically, Shia Muslims made up the majority as many thousands emigrated from Lebanon and Iraq (majority Shia countries) until the early 2000s. However, Alhamdulilah in more recent times, there’s a more vibrant mix of Sunnis and Shias. Generally speaking, I’m happy to say that the majority of Muslims here have not bought into the sectarian rhetoric to divide Sunni & Shia. I and others that I know attend the mosques of the other sect(s) and have never had any issues. I pray that Allah keeps us united and doesn’t allow some Muslims (or others) to stir up hatred for other Muslims based on denominations. At the end of the day, Allah commands us not to be divided and most people here adhere to that to the best of our abilities insha’Allah.

It is to donate to the people who are less fortunate than us and to share in their pain and suffering and to experience what it feels like to not be able to have food on the table daily. It is to appreciate and count the blessings we have been bestowed with and to try our best to acknowledge their sufferings and to try and help donate to the cause. It is mandatory to donate a part of your income during Ramadan if you are an able bodied adult who earns enough monthly. This is known as Zakaat.

Another insightful video. I have numerous friends from the Muslim community and have found them to be among the most gracious individuals I've encountered. It's important to note that every religious group has its exceptions, but it doesn't define the entirety.

Thank you for this video, there is so much hate in this world that arises from fear and we fear anything different from "us". As you say, there has never been a more important time to make and share this video. I hope in some way it will help us understand each other better because right now I think we are all desperate for some understanding.

Tommy needs to be bigger , Big Dog inspires so many to be open to communicate and embrace our differences with live not hate. Much love to Tommy for the respect he gives to everyone he talks to. He shows he just wants to know and spread the word , like he said in the beginning humans fear what they do not know.

I applaud the child who aspires to be a housewife and I despise those who made fun of her. Regards to her parents.
@olegnurmagomedov7506 ай бұрын
@furkanykilmz93835 ай бұрын
Subhanallah to those kids who were educated well by their parents and spoke so smart about their future, I'm a 20-year old Turkish-American and in my whole life, I have never seen kids at those ages speak so intelligently and wise about Islam and themselves. Even if I was still young like that, I can't even imagine myself looking towards the deen and future at a young age like that! 😅 Kudos to their parents for raising them humble proud Muslims! 👍
