I've been a fan of Kat's since 2006 (?)... it's been while. I've had a couple of her long coats (moved on to other homes once I wasn't able to wear them anymore) and I still have 3 or 4 of her cardigans. I feel as though a part of me lives in that beautiful house through the honor of supporting her art. I remember when she bought the house - I remember hearing about the story of going to the paint store... I've enjoyed watching Calico evolve and grow, and Kat's art reach new audiences. She is one of the reasons I feel confident to pursue "my" art, in whatever that looks like - without apology and in the spirit of creative fulfillment. There's so many elements that I love: the fish tank in the kitchen, stairway, master bedroom, the room with the blue floor and the library! SO nice! LSD and mushrooms completely changed my whole outlook on life. I became a better version of myself This experience gave me a lot of confidence about my self and my body. A bunch of bad thought / behavior patterns were broken. One of these was pretty bad OCD that made me wash my hands a lot. It gave me a lot of hope that things will be fine, this is the one thing that I heard throughout the trip: Everything is alright. The main reason for the trip was my severe depression and it definitely helped me (although it's not gone). Before all I could do was lay in bed. Now I am trying to rebuild my life one step at a time which wasn't possible before

I have had the wood blue floor saved on my pinterest for years now. It's her floor before all the paint on the walls. I thought the floor was beautiful but looking at the rest of her house.......omg there is not a inch of space wasted or not thought of. Your home is a beautiful, whimsical masterpiece. This is my favorite video ever! My jaw dropped at the black light hallway! Then the mirror room with a secret door leading to the private library! Like every room in this house just got more magical as we went through it. Such a beautiful home!
