Chuck is right about KAT. Not answering a simple question and then saying something dumb like “ima go home and drink wine”. You called yourself the best big man shooter of all time and you go out and put up 8 points and 5 fouls. Watch KATs full postgame interview then watch KD’s interview from yesterday where Durant was saying how he needs to be BETTER. That’s the difference between a good player and a great player. Take notes KAT.

this is a classic case of the Curry-Thompson Effect. For years The Warriors demolished teams taking and hitting bad 3pt shots so now everyone thinks thats the way to win. The problem is they don't have Curry or Thompson. what happened to take a quality 2pointer and then go play defense? Playing inside out? Running a 3 on 2 fast break that ends in a layup instead of a bad 3 attempt. The league is at an all time high with talent and at an all time low with collective basketball IQ

And the reason GSW had so many looks is that they are pressuring to the paint in transition... with the backcourt that they have is very hard to defend them. But they have a very high IQ of the game and that's the underlying winning factor here... You got a 26 points lead, you just pad and play the clock but you gotta play smart. Attack the rim, get your free throws, make it physical... they couldn't buy a bucket because they were passive and all they had was contested shots... If I was a Wolves fan, I'd be throwing s*** right now.

I love how most teams that are up 20+ just all of a sudden stop playing. I’ve coached kids and have always told them to run up the score until we’re up 40-50. You don’t stop until the final whistle especially in a playoff game. Wolves should’ve kept every starter in until they went up 40.
@RiverM8rix

Everybody wants to blame the coaches and the jump shooting which are valid points but are moot points when your best player takes only 4 shots in a playoff games. Your not winning any playoff games when your best player shoots only 4 times no matter how many timeouts the coach calls. If Karl Anthony Towns would have took 15 shots the Minnesota Timberwolves would have easily won this game. I know he was in foul trouble but he still played over 30 minutes if your a fan who has payed their hard earned money to watch Karl Anthony Towns play you are likely to be incredibly frustrated by his performance as such a performance or lack their off is not acceptable unless your team wins which based on the vast amounts of data based on definitive outcomes recorded throughout NBA history is unlikely.

Chuck is spot on. You call a timeout so you can call a set play. Lon Kruger once told me, "you know a coach's worth by watching how their teams execute on inbounds, timeouts, and close quarters."

Let this be a lesson for all of us, Nothing is granted, we have to fight till the end. egos, inmaturity, and lack of leadership can ruin anything.. we all can learn from this and teach our kids...HOPE THE TWOLVES LEARN and comeback stronger...

You know the coaching staff is clueless when Ant got injured and Ja had to tell the coach to "take a timeout. Your superstar is injured" right in front of the Minnesota bench. What are they saving their timeouts for? They aren't like rollover minutes on your cell phone plan.

The Jazz did the same thing last night versus the Mavs. Jazz Were down 10-12 points multiple times, started taking smart shots and as soon as they brought it to with 2-4 points Mitchell, Conley and Bogdanovic just threw up terrible 3 after terrible threes or turning the ball over and the lead would balloon back to 10 pts
