Inside the New Emirates Airbus A350 - All The Details

Emirates has unveiled the very first Airbus A350 to join its fleet at an exclusive event in Dubai. Join me onboard the brand-new aircraft.
Emirates' new A350-900 will feature three cabin classes, accommodating 312 passengers (32 Business, 21 Premium Economy and 259 Economy seats). It offers high-speed Wi-Fi, 4k IFE, and electric window blinds. I tested seats in all cabins to share my thoughts.
During the delivery ceremony, I managed to interview Sir Tim Clark, President of Emirates Airline. He spoke passionately about why Emirates ordered the A350, the possibility of ordering A350-1000 and why there is no First Class in A350.
The airline plans to make its first scheduled commercial A350 flight to Edinburgh on 3 January 2025. In the months to follow, Bahrain, Muscat and Kuwait, Lyon, Bologna, Colombo, Mumbai and Ahmedabad will be joining the Emirates A350 network map.
Emirates has ordered a total of 65 A350-900s as part of the airline’s plans to support Dubai’s’ Economic Agenda, which aims to add 400 cities to Dubai’s foreign trade map over the next decade. The Emirates A350 is the first new aircraft type to join Emirates’ fleet since 2008.

I have been waiting for this moment since my last birthday (May 11th) when the Emirates A350 has been spotted for the first time in the Airbus factory. It has been more than six months now. In my opinion, it is UNBELIEVABLE to see that the first A350 has been delivered to Emirates. Since my last birthday, I have always wandered what the Emirates A350's interior would look like. And I found the interior incredible. Luxury in business class, and also the airline's famous premium economy.

At first glance it does look impressive. The “lighter” colour palette does make it look larger. As there is no first class we won’t see it here in Australia for many years. But maybe I will fly it on one of those routes that have shown that first class doesn’t really warrant it. Tks for the review!

I flew on an A350 for the first time a couple of days ago (Cathay Pacific from Hong Kong to Heathrow). Nine abreast on an A350 is much, much better than ten abreast on a 777 (which was our outbound flight to Hong Kong). It’ll be a sweet ride on the Emirates A350, I’ve been on their A380s and this would be just as comfortable 😊

The A350 still is the most elegant airliner you can buy today. So is the new interior design... the choice of colors, ambient lightning and materials is superb, the 1/2/1 configuration a huge improvement to the old B777 2/3/2 Business Class layout. I still prefer the privacy of the QSuite tho. Hopefully Emirates will also place some orders on the A350-1000.
