Love the little tip about swapping grips over, so the carrying hand is palm down, you would instinctly go palm up, these little things often make all the difference

I wish there were more places for people to train in catch wrestling. I live in the Phoenix, AZ and have four sons that I'd love to introduce to it. To my knowledge there are no local places though.

It's the same in the UK unfortunately. Sorry we can't help in the US as we don't have any affiliate clubs there

@@THESNAKEPITWIGAN hopefully one day people will start to recognize how similar catch wresting is to the fighting styles employed by the Russian/Dagestan fighters that are so successful in MMA.

@@dr.options It's crazy to think that if the UFC had started ten years earlier, practically everyone having any success in it would have been through a catch-oriented gym. The pro game in the UK fell apart at just the wrong time, and most of the best shooters either retired or stayed where they were able to earn a living, in the US and Japan. It must feel very strange for someone like Roy to see people like Josh and Sakuraba being the most famous catch wrestlers in the world when, until the 1980s, pretty much all the best shooters in the world came not just from the UK, but specifically from Lancashire.
