Greg, how would you compare the Ion to the Mirage 2.0 Graphene? Both are for offensive players but would one suit a specific style of play? Which plastic is stronger?

The Graphene is probably a little more durable but they are so different you can't compare the two. It all depends on the face shape you like. For a tighter face shape the ion would be the way to go.

Ive always used 3 shooters since i was 13 can we add shooters when we buy heads from your website because on your website only shoes one shooting string?

We find this to be a more universal pocket with the one shooter for people to pick up and play with. There is nothing wrong with 3 shooters but its not for the majority of players

The Diamond plastic is something that is never and improved where other plastics are Nylon based plastics.

Depending on the color that you select. The Ion screws are only in the silver, blue and black colors

They both shoot great, but the heads is not going to make it do that. Your pocket is going to be the x factor there

I would buy a custom but when I got my custom rebel d it came with I huge channel and the same issue with my friends rebel O so I learned how to string

Just an idea but you guys should start to put head measurements and weights on your website

We don't want people to get caught up in specific numbers as there is so much more to a head then "blank" oz. I will pass this along to our team and see what they think about this idea. But we are always open to giving the number out in our inside the product videos.

We don't really recommend dyeing them but it can be done. With the plastic being so unique it takes a long time for any dye to absorb into it.

I've seen the aerodynamics mentioned, but how much of a factor does that play into shot speed? I wouldn't think that it would be much of a difference, but can you speak about that more? I can't imagine that I'm the only one maybe not quite understanding all the factors here. But maybe I am the only one... 😉

Eric, Great question, we really focused on the geometry of the rails on this head to focus create less drag as you come through with shots or passing the ball as the top rails are more rounded helping with drag coefficient.

@@ECD Are the aerodynamic forces really that great for a lacrosse head? I guess I never really thought about it that much, since the frontal surface of a head isn't all that great, even with the mesh. The geek in me would love to see that aerodynamic testing, and even some numbers around it being the fastest head to date.
