Many thanks to Colin and his team for putting on such an epic event. I've helped for many years and this year I was a Radio Marshal in Dalbeattie on Saturday and Harwood on Sunday. Thanks to the months of hard graft of the organisers, we turned up at the start line, already signed on via RST, got our goody bags and headed into stage. Set up (something I've done many times on many events) was perfect. Catch up with everyone in a couple of years and maybe, we'll have some Yorkshire stages back?

Great video. Would have been nice to get the camera showing some of the guys at the bottom of the entry list, showing the cars that haven’t cost a small fortune and interviewing some of those crews

Die Unvernunft kennt keine Grenzen!?

Ich denke, daß es da sehr viel Unvernünftigeres gibt, als das, was hier gezeigt wird. Es muß nicht jeder Mensch Rallyes schön finden, und es muß nicht Jeder Spaß daran haben. Aber wenn wir auf Alles, was uns Freude bereitet und wir nicht unbedingt zum Leben brauchen, und die Umwelt belastet, verzichten würden, würde es in unserem Dasein sehr traurig aussehen. Und unsere Wirtschaft würde auch enorm leiden. Es ist sicher so, daß sich in unserer Konsumwelt einiges ändern sollte. Aber wenn es geht, mit ein wenig Augenmaß. Oft sind die größten Umweltsünden dort, wo wir sie nicht sehen.
