Didi I think schools ( especially so called moraled have an important contribution to these crimes . In my old school, my teachers used to say that no girl should even let 1cm of her hair open, her socks should not fall out and skirts should not be up and do not talk to any male . If she breaks any of these , boys will definitely look at them with bad gaze . Like seriously, should not the boys be taught not to look girls with a bad gaze ? And those who not believe me , trust me , back I was in school , I have myself seen boys judging girls on the basis of these creteria . You are right and I do believe that's why we truly need topics like Sex education, social and human behavioral science(basics), basics of philosophy(Socrates, Pleto, Aristotle also Indian philosophers), education of constitutional rights and duties of citizens to society in our syllabus and also self-defense most importantly should be compulsory in every schools whether Govt. or Private not just rote learning the above but implementation all of these will make us a true citizens. We cannot change human attitude . But certain rules to be made mandatory . A group to be done of drs who are in duty . No one should be single . Atleast two to three doctors should be in the group. Enough security should be provided to drs , while they are in duty . If they find cctv n other securities are absent , in that case all should unanimously object to it and get it done within 24 hrs . A cell should be done to take such complain immediately if any of the students or drs complain ..
