Yep just toss that clean laundry down the spiral staircase till it hits bottom! Hahaha hard enough getting up and down those things without having to hold on, let alone a basket full of clean clothes in your hands and obstructing your view of the steps.

#1 is a nice shared deck with a miniature apartment attached. Good for a single who has only one visitor at a time. Except for all the stairs I could actually live there, but I'm basically a hermit. #3 could be shared only with an intimate friend, since it's so cozy that after a few weeks you won't have any secrets from each other. With #4, the deck "access" may be more of a detriment than a benefit. All of these units promote tiny house living!

I like the first appartment. There´s nothing wrong with it and it´s well designed. The fact that those old heaters are paid by the landlords in NYC is really cool. It´s still the standard heating system in Germany but sadly tenants have to pay it themselves. I wonder what´s the story behind why it is paid over there.
