Ive seen tiny apartments, but these are very very small. That being said i think for the right person, this might be all thats needed to get your life in New York City Started. Check them out and let me know if you’d be able to make this work.
Thanks to ‪@CharlesMunroe‬ for the tour!

Watching this channel has caused me to appreciate my little house. It’s 1,200 sq ft with a huge yard and I paid 77k for it 14 years ago. I used to think it was tiny. The bedrooms are 14 X 14 and one bath but I love it! And I have no mortgage so yeah, I’m staying here. 😂 Charles is THE man!!

Same feeling. I bought a 3 bedroom ranch house 30 y ago paid Morgage in 20 yrs I used to call my house little house in the prairie but compare to those apt my Morgage is less than the 1 br and I thank the Lord for my blessing. I have 1/3 acre of land to garden if I want.People need n Manhattan are just waking up to the absurdity. Thanks to the pandemic. With high crime who needs to be reminded and God forbid you have a child the public school is another private problem. My prediction it’s not ever going back to the old normal again.

Yeah, this definitely makes me appreciate my home in Maidstone, UK. For roughly the same price as that teeny studio apartment, me and my family are renting a three-bedroomed flat with all mod cons and plenty of space. I don't know how on earth New Yorkers afford to live there!

I'm in North Wales, my 2 bed semi cost 18.5k. Converted the adjoining brick shed into an attached garage at the side, added heating, porch, conservatory, double glazing, theres a reasonable garden with 2 old apple trees in back, little garden in front (can fit 2 small cars on drive), have a 2 mile view to the sea from upstairs, fields and 2 mature oaks view from downstairs, mortgage ended up at 35k. The prices on here are just ... can't think of the words!

@@ChrisAndCatsI’m in Cumbria in a 3 bed terrace with traditional side return yard and triple length garage but because we are just outside the national park when we bought it 35 years ago it only cost £20k but we moved up from the south so we never had mortgage got out in 88 before the property bubble burst…..phew we would have been in negative equity. Moving north was the best thing I ever did, great place to rear kids, we live about 850m from the beach. Not a lot of people realise the Lake District has some really nice coastline 😊

2 of the best comments from the C&C team. "It's affordable to the person who rents it" & "Quirks are perks". I like the 3rd the best mainly because it doesn't look like a closet lol but the price...well yeah because of where it's at. The 2nd, was that really even big enough for a bed in the "bedroom"? Kinda hard to tell. Compared to yesterday's, they're all a huge letdown except the neighborhood is way more desirable.

The first apartment: Charles, SIX people? Do they hang from hooks or are they stacked like cordwood? The second apartment: No outdoor space but with a tiny bedroom. Is it worth that much more? @00:50. That bookstore isn't even in the running on a list of oldest bookstores in the world. In Europe and in the UK we have them dating back to the 1700s and all centuries in between. Oldest bookstore in the world is in Portugal dating back to 1732 (Bertrand). Here in the UK our oldest is Hatchards dating back to 1797. Something that dates back to 1925 is a baby by European standards! 😉

These videos remind me of how blessed I am not only to be a cancer survivor, but to find my beautiful 2 bedroom 2 bath co-op in the heart of brooklyn, which I just converted into a 3rd bedroom/home office, for $1700 a month. I’m 15 minutes from work, church, my elderly parent’s house, and walking distance to everything including the subway into the city, and 7 bus routes…during covid, many people were fleeing NY and my seller wanted out fast and sold it to me cheap. I was renting at $2200 for a tiny, noisy apartment, and jumped at the chance. I had to drain my 401K, beg borrow and steal from everyone I knew for the down payment lol but it was worth it.

Cash Jordan, I do not think I'd be content living in that small of space, I grew up on 160 acres of land 2 sheds a big two storage barn a big house out in rural California so I lost my parents in the 1970's and in 1980 then I bought 4,700 lot of land with 2-bedroom house on it in Sacramento, CA it is paid off. I am 65 years of age retired office Technician but been retired for 8 years now. I read we all choose our path and lifestyle and I do agree with that. I never been to New York City. But I been almost everywhere in California state. Any place can be restored it makes no difference how it might appear. Thank you both for video showing how little one can get in New York City, by the way I only used $613.00 to live on. It is because I have ZERO Debt. otherwise it cost more.

Hmm... this is tough. While I didn't like the kitchen, I did like that $3K/month studio with the outdoor space. That's a good price given the location. I liked the $3600K/month one bedroom but I would like it more with outdoor space. However, it's still a good price for the neighborhood. Of course, I like the $7100K/month 2bed/2bath unit but it's too much money (IMHO) to pay in rent.

That outdoor space made me feel claustrophobic. The kitchen on the 2nd was definitely better but it was hard to figure out room sizes since there were workers in it. Cash- I still say the city of NY should hire you for their upcoming 70k of new dwellings as you - along with your buddies- would fill these future dwellings in a heartbeat. Excellent all the way to the last frame. Keep going! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏☮️

I love how not even Mr. Charles is convinced that this is a good deal, despite him doing his best to convince the rest of us. Cash: "How many people do you think could comfortably live here?" Mr. Charles: "6." HA! Love the sarcasm/humor.

"It's affordable to the person who rents it." Well, DUH...but no matter what spin you put on it, those rents are still insane.

Toilet rooms opening onto kitchens are despicable and disgusting, but they are all over NYC. Plumbing is the reason why, but I would guess that it's not always necessary.

For the person who will rent this space: Use a build-in kingsize bed, with couch integrated. That saves a lot of space and the good thing---> the tv can always been looked at...on the couch and from the bed...cause it's the same angle...more or less. And then there is still enough space for a couch that is a bed... I always lived in small spaces and there are always options

As a born and raised NYer I approve this apartment. In my 20s this apartment would have been🔥😂. Price is great for the area. Actually a steal. Lol That outside space…priceless! But that laundry room is a death trap.😢

Thing is, with the more and more overcrowded NYC becomes. How long before that first bedroom becomes the average sized apt for a family of four?

I thought 5000 for a 6bedroom 4000sqft house with a pool was too expensive, now I don’t think so.
