awesome, we need these for the CNC router Spindles to give the capability of cutting side features. Thanks : )

Neat but not the smallest right angle in the world. I have one here geared 30:1 that’s smaller than those.

Where did you buy it...I'm making something and need some mini right angle gearboxes

Very nice

30:1 for Spiroid non back drivable means driving efficiency below 50% - very poor efficiency for 30:1 spiroid set. Spiral bevel or crown face is better for 4:1 ratio compare to spiroid. Why would you even do spiroid if you can go worm face at lower cost and better result.

higher torque at low RPM , maybe 50% efficiency is enough. by the way how did you get that it is below 50%? have you test it.
@Spiralbevelgear4 жыл бұрын
@@longBowHunterII Perhaps, I did not formulate it precisely. 30:1 ratio spiroid will be about 70% efficient and it will be back drivable. I used this ration for steering assist. If the driving efficiency below 50% spiroid gear will be self locking.

Well, the use the Spiroplan gearbox W.9 from SEW. The efficience will be 90% and more with a ratio from 4 to 200.
@Spiralbevelgear3 жыл бұрын
@@schmidtjohnson1826 90% is a low efficiency for ratio 4. I could not find 90% for ratio 200 at www.sew-eurodrive.de/
@schmidtjohnson18263 жыл бұрын
@@Spiralbevelgear ratio of 4 can have 95% (and more) and ratio of 200 can have 90%efficience (and more). Depends on the rpm you use. Spiroplan is used in stage 1. Stage 2 and 3 are spure gears. www.sew-eurodrive.de/products/gear_units/standard_gear_units/spiroplan_right-angle_gear_units_w/spiroplan_right-angle_gear_units_w.html
