Unless I am badly mistaken I do believe that St Joan of Arc help to bring to an end the 100 years war , but, of course, the French dauphan ,later crowned roí d’France , did NOT appreciate her efforts to end the war , $ when she was arrested by the inglish, he did nothing whatsoever to assist her, & thus she was burned alive at the stake ❤😢😢😢😢😢😊

Going to point out that Henry VIII’s remains are in a vault with three other sets of human remains - Queen Jane Seymour, Charles I, and an infant child of Queen Ann. The vault was opened multiple times over a span of more than 100 years to accommodate additional remains - which is one purpose of a vault. It was meant to be opened. Henry VIII and Jane Seymour were never meant to be in that vault permanently. They were supposed to be moved. For some reason none of his children felt like spending the $$ for the elaborate tomb he’d designed to be built. Can’t imagine why. 😂

I think opening the tombs and taking DNA samples would be exciting and give us historic insight into their lives. They are dead so will not be upset, prayers could be said when shutting their tombs after samples taken for those of a religious persuasion.

I suspect he would not have favoured his adult grandson Richard II whose ways would have reminded him too much of his father Edward II. He would have admired the more warlike Henry IV, Henry V, and Edward IV. He would have been disappointed by the ongoing fratricide amongst the Plantagenet cousins who bought the Royal house to an end. In particular as like his grandfather they had both had to fight so hard to regain/ retain their inheritance.
