Grover Cleveland spend part of his childhood in Fayetteville, New York. His father was a minister of the Presbyterian Church there for a number of years. Fayetteville has several markers and museum displays proudly telling of the association.

Cleveland under went a secret surgery for cancer during his second term. Also he told a child who was brought to the White House by his father, " I hope, young man, when you grow up, you'll never be President." That child was 5 years old at the time, and in fact would become one of the greatest Presidents in the history of our nation. Franklin Delano Roosevelt.

Yeah no this is incorrect. Cleveland did not deny his illegitimate son. In fact, one of the things that made him seem so honest to the common people was when the scandal came up, he basically said "Yeah it's probably mine".
