I love how Inside the Treehouse is like a countdown to the official game & we get to learn all the secrets. I was first upset for waiting so long but I'm happy that Nintendo took so much dedication into this release regardless of it being a really late release your doing an amazing job. Thank you!

Yes, you can customize the outfit, you can even create your own clothes using patterns that you input in the 3DS screen. (:

He meant it like if someone steals his 3DS or it breaks, you lose everything since there is no account system. And a save file of Animal Crissing is something you don't want to lose.

If you have played the gamecube-version, you may remember, toy day is the day BEFORE christmas. There is toy day and there is christmas. They are two different days.

I missed the real world holidays, as much as I loved Wild World. I skipped out on the Wii one because it always seemed like the same as Wild World just with a city. So I haven't seen the real world holidays since the Gamecube version. Glad they're back! :D

toy day is christmas eve, in NL you have to hand out presents for christmas the next day, but christmas doesnt have an actual event

You can have up to 4 characters in one town, one copy of the game. However, only the first one will be mayor. While everybody will have their own house and be able to participate in all events and do all that they used to be able to do and more, only the mayor can do Public works projects and mayor mandates..

Minimum wage in American is $7.25 an hour. In Australia it is $15.96 an hour. More or less, our prices are the same (at least I think so).

We get other holidays instead, like Groundhog's Day and St. Patty's. I hope they are as interesting though. I'll probably cry if all we get is "Oh, here, have a random item." instead of a cool interactive holiday like Bean Day.

You know that these things cycle around, right? The clock in previous games goes until about 35 years after the release date (all of that time traveling nonsense.) You'll see the events in when they come around.

Having ACNL in digital form is great. You won't ever lose the game, and you can have another game in the slot.!

Animal Crossing is the best game to download in your 3DS. I can go anywhere with any physical game I own (Fire Emblem, SM3DL, Luigi's Mansion 2...) and I'll always have Animal Crossing there. I can just take a five minutes break from any of these games or just play it for hours.

If your game gets accidentally erased, you can go back into the eshop and redownload it. (your personal information on the eshop being what I meant by account)

You could always get a bigger SD card... Also the 3DSXL comes with a 4 gb card instead of the 3DS's 2 gb.

Just an idea- They should let you download your games onto your digital hardware (from the original hard copy cartridges) so you can buy it at the store, but still have it in your DS as well.. (just in case you forget the game)

Personally, I enjoy digital downloading for convenience. Currently I have both Fire Emblem and Animal Crossing loaded onto my 3DS, leaving me with a choice of three games to play (one in the slot) without having to switch cards.

I think they didn't do that because people(including myself) will be upgrading our 3DS to the XL & need to transfer all the info over, which you really can't(as far as I've read re:transferring data) without wiping out stuff that is on the 3ds that is being transferred to.

What I want to know is what other fossils and fruits there will be, of course the fish and insects. I am replaying Gamecube version and i remember playing the DS version on how many other fish there was like sharks and others. Than for the Wii there was a big change in that where the museum had other rooms for the fossils, insects and fish. oh and paintings.

Have my wild world town set 12hrs fast so when I run out of stuff to do in new leaf I can keep playing at night @_@ Not to say new leaf doesn't have night activities but there really isn't much to do two days in. xD That goes for most AC games.

Well, it's good for those of us that don't live in highly populated areas, which don't get the games as quickly as we may want it. (ACNL got to my town like three days after the release date :T) I do prefer hard copies, though.

I disagree. Both have their up and downs. digital means you always have the game, but the physical pre-orders normally come with something. I think it's more for availability than just so people download them. They still sell physical copies. If they wanted everyone to download, they would not.

what's the conversion like? Hard copy in the UK is £40 but download is cheaper coz the actual game cards are expensive to make
